Umm, unless there as been a big super secret takeover panini has nothing to do with UD, panini took over Donruss so their first foray into non-sports since the takeover is the latest Americana release. RA would clearly be my first choice to do an IM2 set and UD would be at the bottom of the list. As pointed out, while the odds for the big name autos from topps are usually pretty long at least they get the big names. UD doesn't even try, think of their Fantastic 4 movie set, no autographs (or sketches), no inserts, just a few costume cards serial numbered into the thousands for the most part. Gee, I wonder why very few people were interested in opening boxes? ____________________ "Man muss entweder der Hammer oder der Amboss sein" (you must be the hammer or the anvil)

Oops... my mistake, I was thinking of Donruss. Thanks for correcting me Incarnadine. Disregard that post.

Technically I don't think RA lost the Marvel license. UD always had the license and RA sub-let the license for a time being. (too short)

Maybe they learned a few things from RA... one would hope. ____________________ I'm a burning effigy of everything I used to be. Robbie Williams My Sketch Collection

I do not belive that to be the case. Back when Complete Avengers came out, RA did sub-let the license, but I belive that RA has had their own limited lecense for the last few years. Otherwise, they would not be able to produce anything now as UD can not sub-let something that they do not have. ____________________ Feeling happy? Then rip open a box. Feeling blue...then rip 2!
