Looks like the same basic formula as James Bond Archives 2015.

And why are Throwback sets referred to as a bonus anyway? They are larger sets than the base set and each one could be considered it's own separate product.

Always nice to see new autographs at 2 per box. I would rather have that than heavily loaded relic cards, which are generally bits of clothes. SPECTRE cards sounds like another manufactured hit. The gold parallels are for someone I don't know. Big Grin

Both Roger Moore and George Lazenby have signed quite a few autos for Rittenhouse over the years. And they seem to keep on coming !

I'm baffled why they want to reprint 'The World is not Enough' as the base set, when a brand new film has recently been released.

Only 6 new signers, but 3 MAJOR ones in Bianchi, Whishaw and Wright. I'm sure many will complain 'same old same old' but there will obviously be some nice new cards. I always think its good that collectors have more chances to get good cards from the bigger names.

I'm looking forward to what is hopefully a full-bleed for Brosnan, as I love The World Is Not Enough, a full-bleed of Marceau with a better pic than the last one, and the full-bleeds for Amalric and Glover.
I would be over the moon if Bianchi and Harris were in the Women of Bond style but I don't see that happening this set.

I'm in for the base set, and the Licence To Kill throwback set (and 1 parallel from each set).

Would like to know what other chase cards will be included, and if we will ever get Skyfall update chase cards for the 40th anniversary series.

No interest in the incentives... the gold sigs look to be aimed specifically at the 'specialist'/niche collector.

I'm still waiting for a Lazenby full-bleed with an image I like, so hope he signs more!
I've always thought of Moore as the Leonard Nimoy of the Bond series. I think its great he signs so many for RA.

I really enjoyed SPECTRE and I would rather have seen it come first. Something to look forward to I guess.

I'll have to wait and see what the relics are like before I decide how much, if any, to order. I'm a Daniel Craig era collector so if it's all Spectre relics I'm in. But the vague way they wrote everything makes me think this is a more general Bond release, with Spectre specific stuff coming later. In any case I'm happy to chase the Craig era full bleeds that are hopefully coming out after years of waiting!

Looking forward to Ben Whishaw...if his card doesn't end up in the realms of the 'lottery winner' price range!
I still haven't decided on a Roger Moore card to own yet, so I don't mind seeing more of him to see more choices. Smile

Roger Moore is such a great ambassador for the Bond films, it's great he signs so much. Not a fashionable thing to say these days but I enjoy him as Bond far more than Craig.

My favourite card of his was the The Man With The Golden Gun full-bleed from Bond Archives 2014. Classic image.

For me at the moment are the two cards from that set. The full-bleed one is a great image. And I half considered the gold signature incentive one from the same set. But I'll see what the new card is and decide then.
Golden Gun would be a nice choice movie either way as I have a Christopher Lee one and that would go nicely together. Smile

If we could only get Timothy Dalton to sign at some point... I've been ridiculed for years for saying he was great as Bond...now years later, because of Penny Dreadful, it's fashionable to say it! Grrr. LOL

I wanted a Moore auto for years as there were so many being released but could not decide on one I liked. Was going to get the A View To A Kill full-bleed even though I wasn't keen on the image because I love that film (another unpopular opinion!), but am glad I waited, the Archives 2014 card is my favourite image of his Bond even if it is not one of my favourite Bond films.
The new Moore card in this set is listed as being another TMWTGG but we've had 2 full-bleeds from him for that film already (Dangerous Liaisons & Archives 2014). I think there is a solid chance that the new card will be 40th anniversary style.

I too would LOVE a Timothy Dalton autograph, even more than Connery - he is my second favourite Bond. He was fantastic in the role and it is a shame he only did 2 films.

Thanks! I think you've helped me to choose my Moore card. If there's already been two full-bleeds that does sound like it could be a 40th Anniversary style one for the new set. I prefer vertical portrait to horizontal landscape style too. So the 2014 one would match my other 'special' Bond autos.
I also liked the A View to a Kill film. I didn't think it was as bad as everyone seems to say it was. But I do prefer the 2014 card image of the two mentioned.

And THANKYOU!!! Timothy Dalton is my joint-favourite Bond. Smile
As nice as it would be, I'm not that fussed with Connery or even owning a Connery card. Especially as he seems to sort of distance himself from it all. I never really understand when an actor has been made famous by a role, then sticks their nose up and disowns it because they want to move on. The way I see it, Connery can only play one part = "Sean Connery". Big Grin But having said that, I can see why Bond collectors would love to have his card to complete their sets.

Thanks for the heads up WOMBLE, I hadn't seen the updated page.

...well the full-bleed collectors should be happy! All the cards shown have nice striking images, especially the Bianchi card: nice signature and classic image. The Brosnan card uses a nice image and I might try for it, but after seeing the new Marceau, I much prefer the older one I wasn't so keen on. Saves me having to swap it out. Looking forward to trying to get the Jeffrey Wright card so long as it's not daft money. I hope a Mathieu Amalric full-bleed is still coming even though it is not on the list.

Seeing as all the cards now shown (so far) are full-bleed, please don't blame me if RA release a 3rd Moore TMWTGG full-bleed card with an image you prefer! Wink

Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE a full-bleed Connery card with him in his white tux from Goldfinger, but I don't think it's gonna happen. It is disappointing he has disowned the role that made him a global superstar. I'd much prefer a Dalton Licence To Kill full-bleed (one of my top 5 Bond films).

LOL No worries about that. Big Grin I'm actually going to wait anyway, because cards from previous sets might reduce in favour of moving the newer cards. Or it might end up being a nicer card in the new set and I might get it cheap in an auction. I'm in no rush, but it's narrowed down my choice if I don't like the new card. Smile Roger is on my "to acquire list". Smile

Ten SPECTRE Metal trading cards (1:144 packs, numbered to 150 each), eight 007 Double-Sided (Hero/Villain) Mirror cards (1:144 packs) and ten James Bond Relic cards (1:96 packs, numbered to 200 each).

The SPECTRE cards look nice, but at (1:144 packs) they are pointless. Twak
