The Twilight Zone Archives (Rittenhouse)
Another new one they've added to their site with no info (yet).

Looks like it's coming out after Star Trek Discovery, Lost In Space, DS9 Heroes And Villains, and Game of Thrones 7, but before Twin Peaks.

For those TZ fans you never checked it out, the "Twilight Zone Museum" is a great reference site. They have a database there where they keep track of all the TZ actors, living and deceased:

http://www.twilightzonemuseum.com/actors/database.php

The last time it was updated was in October and there were 195 actors still living. Many of those have already signed for the sets but there are a few big names who haven't like Carol Burnett, Robert Redford, Robert Duvall, Shelley Fabares, and Ann Jillian.

Good news for sure! I have most of the others already, and am looking forward to adding some more to the collection, especially the Martin Landau.

The database cited was just updated with a few more names added, unfortunately.

Update on this set...

Twilight Zone - Rod Serling Edition Trading Cards (June 2019) has been added to the Rittenhouse release schedule. And Steve also had this to say regarding the upcoming set:

"We'll likely post the TZ info by mid-February. Still taking care of a few details. But really excited about this set. 2 autos per box. Lots of inscription autos. Rod Serling cuts. The base set will feature the opening and closing monologues from each episode. 156 cards!"

Initial details and images are up. Coming July 17. Set looks great! Serling cuts are #'d to 50 which gives box/case breakers a realistic chance of possibly finding one.

Yep, I think this one will be a highlight for the year. Really looking forward to it. The autographs from almost every signer in TZ are always just gorgeous to look at. It's a pleasure when people take pride in writing their names.

Looks awesome! I guess we can assume that Landau was supposed to be part of the 2009 release but RA never got it in time.

According to RA, there are so many different cards in this, that there will be some cards in the packs, which are not in the Archive Boxes, including the Rod Serling cut card

Autographs have been posted to the checklist. This set looks great. I love the TZ - probably my favorite non-sport sets.

Nice. Just a few new ones to get then, and leave the easily ignorable inscription ones by repeat signers.

Yes not a lot of new signers, but more than I thought there was going to be. And Rittenhouse's options are limited in that regard. According to the Twilight Zone Museum (which is an excellent reference site to browse if you're interested in the TZ), there are only approx. 174 actors still alive. That's from 156 episodes. And a lot of those still with us have already signed before. I'm the first one to criticize Rittenhouse when I feel like they've gone off the rails but I also give them credit where credit is due. They really did a phenomenal job with these sets.

Here's a link to the actor database on The Twilight Zone Museum's website if anyone's interested:
