I know my expectations have been raised during the wait with no news. I really hope for all four series and a great auto line up!

I just tried to send you an e-mail but it bounced.

If memory serves me right, at the Card Talk breakfast in San Diego last year Uncle Allan did indeed mention sketches. I was surprised that nobody seemed to notice it considering Inkworks' long-time policy of no sketch cards except in sets based on animated or comic related properties. I think AVP only got sketches because of the Dark Horse comics.

Well Doctor Who has had comics in the past. Even now there is a Doctor Who comic based on David Tennant's doctor from Virgin comics I believe.

The Doctor Who comics are by Idea and Design Works (IDW) but not "officially" available in the UK

There's a comic strip in every issue of Dr Who Monthly, and there's been a comic strip published in one mag/comic or another just about continuously since 1964.

I think there is also a comic strip in the spin off 'for kids' magazine "Doctor Who Adventures" (the one that comes out every two weeks with a 'free gift' on the cover)

I agree, I am really looking forward to a good auto line up.

This will be my first Inkworks release. I am hoping that there are no signers or costume cards with more than 450, and 150 - 300 for sketch card artist. That would mean no garbage fillers for the hit cards.

Inkworks has a reputation for quality, I am really looking forward to this release! Smile

We can all dream of any trading card release by any trading card company to have those requirements, but it is highly unlikely.

On the Upcoming Releases page it has Doctor Who: Season One (Inkworks) date August. However, nothing on the Inkworks site. We have had our hopes raised before perhaps this may be correct.
