Although not strictly trading cards, this recently released set of playing cards based on Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series is excellent.

I recently got mine in the post and am very impressed, they are selling a few different options, I got the double set.

When you consider each card has original art made for it, I can understand the costs involved.

Still, a bit expensive unless you're a big fan.

I liked the art on the Wheel of Time CCG from several years back too. Those were nice cards.

I am actually working on the CCG set right now.. there sure are a lot of cards for that one.

Does anyone know how to play a CCG? I have no idea, really just trying to collect one of every card.

Actually, the CCG isn't as bad as most. There was only the base set, 2 expansion sets, and a premium set made.

I played the game extensively, and even rep'd the game for Precedence. Good game, though the dice aspect gets a little out of hand when you get to the end. But the dice also put in a nice bit of luck to go along with strong deck building.
