What is the deal with these?
I have a few cards that I have tried many times to locate online, but I can never seem to find them anywhere at any price. Specifically, I am talking about the following:

Bettie Page Private Collection - Embossed E2
Joe Canuck - any cards numbered G8 or higher
Sherlock Holmes Victorian Crime - puzzle "A Study in Scarlet"

Do these cards even exist? If anyone has information on any of these or can point me in a good direction to find them, that would be awesome.

Also, while I'm asking random questions, why are the 1994 Power Blast cards from the 2013 Marvel Retro set so darn expensive? For cards that were seeded 1:10 packs, they sure do seem to be rather scarce--even more so than other chase cards from the same set that are seeded 1:30 packs or less.

Just my thoughts for today...

I don't know about those but you should ask Bond about the Joe Canuck cards because he once offered the G6 and G7 cards for trade. He might know if there were more of those.

I have the Bettie Page Embossed E2 card and the Sherlock Holmes puzzle set . No idea of the rarity of the Bettie Page card but the puzzle set I thought was quite common . There is a canvas variant which is much harder to put together .

I have an uncut sheet of the canvas variant.

Can you post a picture of the Sherlock Holmes puzzle (both sides if possible) or email it to me? I have seen some cards listed on the auction site, but not sure what they look like?

I found the E1 card--guess I got lucky with that one. The E2 eludes me...

On the Joe Canuck cards, I thought there were only G1 to G4, and that they only did those cards up until 2011. There are more ?

The regular cards were 1 to 20, plus variants

These were the Canadian G.I. Joe cards, sort of like the Mego Museum cards, given out by dealers and at shows, mostly between 2004 and 2010.

Thanks for the pictures. So, if I am not mistaken, the puzzle cards are the same as those issued in the Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes set in 2014? (I'm at work and cannot look at my cards right now, so this is from memory)

Nice looking sketch card set. Great blend of old and new, plus the dual card set is really cool.

I have done a bit more investigating as these sets are 10 years old now and I was relying on my memory ( never a good idea Smile ) . I had originally thought the canvas puzzle cards were a variant of the normal puzzle cards .

I now think that the puzzle set pictured is for Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes . The puzzle set for Sherlock Holmes and Victorian Crime is the same Study in Scarlet picture but the cards are canvas material with blank backs except for writing " canvas chase card F1-F9 " .

I generally bought a case of 10 packs of all the Sherlock Holmes releases and I only have 3 of the 9 canvas puzzle cards so they must have been much rarer than the regular puzzle cards . It's very hard to remember exactly what cards were in which sets as Jason at Cult Stuff would produce lots of variants with different backs and materials .

Where did everyone get the info that there are Joe Canuck cards G5 to G8 ? Last one I saw was G4

The Joe Canuck website and Facebook page have not been updated since 2013, 2014

Based on my want lists, I'm pretty sure I have cards G5, G6, and G7, but I don't have eyes on them right now (I'm at work, and the cards are at home). I will verify and respond later.

I just confirmed some of the additional Joe Canuck cards do exist. They are for Robert Atkins (G5), Jason Loo (G6), and Mark Bellomo (G7). I would scan and post them here, if I knew how.
