Hi,

Apologies if it's been answered, but does the Shannen Doherty from Charmed auto have the watermarks?

Also, do the Lost in Space autographs have the inkworks watermarks?

I don't have an answer to this question, but G6ADC noted in a October 18, 2009 post that some known legitimate cards have been found both with and without a watermark, so I'm not sure how useful the watermark is for authentication.

If no one answers by the time I get home from work I can take a look at any of these I have and let you know what I find.

I can't see any watermarks on my inkworks cards (I haven't examined them to the fine degree required) but even those I pulled from a case I can't see!

The watermarks are TOUGH to see on a lot of cards -- try with a black light if you have one available.

All my Season 1 Charmed autographs have a watermarker A1 (razor) A2 A4 A6. None of my Power of Three autograph have the watermark. I hope this helps but as Jon said I don't know how reliable the marker is. ---Michele

Recently I've been buying Alias autographs from various sources. Don't know if this helps, but here's an overview of the cards I got with and without a visable watermark on the back:

Alias Cards WITH watermark:
A6, A7, A10, A14, A15, A19, A25, A31, A38, A39

Alias Cards WITOUT watermark:
A29

I think the A29 (Kurt Fuller) was a Razor uncirculated one.

Also, I found it noteworthy that sometimes the wartermarks are really hard to spot, especially on the older cards.

Wow that's a lot of stuff to take into consideration on autos. Since I'm just starting out I have no idea on the amount of fakes out there. Thanks for all the input.

No one really knows how many fakes are out there,but just be careful of a new seller with a lot of a "very limited" or rare card for sale on ebay or any other site.

The only reason why I checked this site out is because I just purchased a couple of high end autos. I decided to see what else is out there and stumbled onto this site.
