I picked up a couple boxes of BSG S3, and I'm very happy about this Rittenhouse set!
You get 2 autos + 1 costume + 1 film card + a buncha other extra inserts + a full base set ALL for around $50. The auto line up is very decent and all the insert cards are pretty cool. While some may not like the reduced number of packs - I am MUCH happier with less base cards as I usually buy multiple boxes at a time. Rittenhouse did do a great job with this set. They pretty much got the whole main cast to sign in reasonable numbers. An AMAZING job !!
 The reduction in the number of packs was a smart choice in their products of late from 40-pack (7 cards each) boxes to 24 pack (5 cards each) boxes. There are still plenty of base sets going around cheaply vs. sitting somewhere in the dark unsorted. The most positive effect is by saving money in printing, packing, and shipping unneded base cards... they have managed to offset rising costs, given better and more inserts, and kept boxes prices the same. My congrats go for this even more. |

That's a good point you make about the reduction of base cards in a box....not a bad thing considering you can buy a base set now for $3.00. I think it's a very smart move by Rittenhouse. I agree, this is a great set. Another great thing is that even with such an amazing auto line up, the cards aren't selling for huge prices. I mean you can pick up a Grace Park, Jamie Bamber, Katee Sackhoff or James Callis auto for less than US$40. So it's a great set and it won't break the bank to be able to collect the auto's you want either. Excellent job Rittenhouse.

Im really impressed with this set and rittenhouse with the product.
I decided to buy a case of this items + a couple of boxes and by doing that i was 1 card off completing a basic master set. Ive now bought the last card i needed from ebay and recieved it so now all i need to do is buy the 6 case incentive card, which i have reserved for me at my local store and get a copy of the redemption card. Very happy with this set and hope that rittenhouse continue in this trend and that some other companies pick up and use some of the great points of this product. |

I did end up getting a case of this after opening 3 boxes. So I will be in to this 15 boxes. Thats the most I've spent on a set ever.
But I did get one box that only had one Auto in it. Anyone run in to that before? I sent an Email to RA to see what they say about it. Rob |
