HI,
I just purchased one of the Batman Returns Card #2 Devito autographs and am somewhat uncertain about the authenticity of the autograph. Does anyone have any pictures handy for comparison purposes or for those that have the card - could you post a scan or describe it for me? Yup and mine is exactly like that one. Stadium Club card signed in white, randomly inserted in the Batman animated set. I bought mine for 15 bucks off a kid in a comic shop who pulled it from a pack right in front of me. Here's a pic of mine. Sig is not as neat at the one on eBay.  This message has been edited. Is there any special stamp, embossing, card number different, or different card design used for the pack-inserted autographed cards?

Sadly no. This was at the dawn of the celebrity autographed insert and manufacturers were still finding their way. It is identical in every way to a normal Stadium Club Batman Returns card #2 except for the sig. It would be appallingly easy to counterfeit, luckily so few people are even aware it exists that there is almost no demand for it so no real point in faking it. I'd love to know more about the card (how many signed, what's with the white pen etc...) but I fear it is lost in the mists of time......... ____________________ There, I posted. Thanks for the scan! I took another look at mine, and it's almost identical - same kind of pen, same sort of spotty ink (I'm guessing that the cards stuck together and took off some of the ink). Great buy for $15. I bought mine for $10 or so after shipping.
