I have a great time not only with the Twilight Zone, but also the Outer Limits Cards:
Adam West
William Shatner
Ed Asner
Robert Culp

I recently started a Lost and Seinfeld project where I'm picking up auto cards of characters of those shows.

What a fun topic!.. and one I can actually contribute to lol

I don't have many autos but I have these two from the Alias show;

Angus Scrimm for Phantasm and David Cronenburg (or is it spelled with an 'e'?)for his many works in the horror genre but mostly for his appearance in the movie 'Nightbreed'.

I never gave Costas Mandylar a second thought until the Saw movies. Now, his auto is a 'must' on my list along with Ted Levine aka RustyNail in the movie Joyride....'CandyCane. Anybody out there know CandyCane?'.

*gave me the creeps every time I heard him on that CB radio.*

In among my Simpsons TV show Autograph cards is one of Kelsey Grammer as the Beast from "X-Men 3". Not exactly a Sideshow Bob card, but a nice placeholder until one is made, I say with fingers crossed.

I also adored the shows "Six Feet Under" and "Deadwood" on HBO. There was a Six Feet Under set that came out while the show was on, but it didn't include an signed card from Frances Conroy, who played Ruth Fisher. Well, thanks to Inkworks "Seeker The Dark is Rising" set, I was able to add a signature card from her to my Six Feet Under collection after all. Thanks to that same set, I was also able to pick up a card signed by Ian McShane, who was Al Swearengen on "Deadwood", a show that had no card set made for it, unfortunately.

I have been a fan of Ron Howard for a looooong time, mostly for "American Graffiti" and "Happy Days". While he signed no cards for those classics, my pair of certified Ron Howard autograph cards from "The Grinch" and "Twilight Zone" make up for them quite nicely.

And speaking of "The Grinch" card set, I was also able to get a signed card of Jeffrey Tambor, who was so great on the "Larry Sanders" show as sidekick Hank Kingsley.

So while these cards are not strictly from the projects that made me fans of these actors, I'm nevertheless glad they all signed for these other sets.

Ah! That would explain it - I didn't do a lot of Who watching after Tom Baker left...

Now THAT story would be a challenge to get autos of all the main cast for ( including Eleanor Bron, Clive Swift, Jenny Tomasin and William Gaunt as well as Alexei )

Given the interview he did with DWM a while back, I doubt Swift would be interested in doing an autograph for a DW set, but he must have been in something else that had a set released! Eleanor Bron would be nice...

Since I'm still pretty new at non sports cards I just collect any actor/actresses that I like. Even though I never seen them in the show or movie, just having something of theirs is good enough for me, regardless of what set it's from.

Did you also pick up a Christine Baranski autograph from the Grinch set? A great character actress on TV, in films and on Broadway, she always steals the show. Thumb Up

I do have both Christine Baranski Autograph cards from the Grinch set, I'm glad to say.

I liked her on the 1990's Cybill Shepherd TV show and as she was hilarious as the camp counselor in "Addams Family Values". And what a great scene she had with Richard Gere in "Chicago", one of my favorite numbers in the whole movie.

So yes, I should've mentioned her since I got her autograph card more for those things than the Grinch movie (which looked pretty neat but didn't seem really necessary since the Chuck Jones cartoon of the story still stands up so well).

Thanks for reminding me of her in that set!

This is exactly how I put my collection together - I go for the signer, rather than the set.

I wanted a set of main Star Trek TNG signers - it includes a Brent Spiner Outer Limits card ($12) and a Jonathan Frakes Thunderbirds card ($7) as the Trek versions are much pricier.

I have a little list of 'wants' from random sets so that I can collect the autos I want - and Christine Baranski, Ian McShane and Jennifer Tilly (to name but a few) are all on that list.

I'll also be keeping an eye out for the SG1 Joshua Malina auto card when the Heroes set is released to add to my 'unofficial' West Wing set.
