Thats true Triple-frog, but really only 2 of the Supernatural autos are worth anything half of the pieceworks won't be worth much either. The line up for Heroes season 1 autos has named people that are all main characters in the show and therefore will all be worth more than the low end autos from Supernatural. The fact that there will only be one auto, pw or sketch per box just means they'll be rarer and end up worth more. I still think paying $210 extra for 2 more boxes and a bunch of low end autos was a bit much.

So, with all the signer and sketch artist updates since this poll was started have people upped their orders? It looks like it has dried up pretty good. I see the ebay seller who way back was pre-selling cases for $290 is up to $405 which usually means most cases will be selling closer to $450 soon. I hope NSU-ers locked up their boxes/cases back when they were still cheap, although with what we know will be in our boxes now $400+ doesn't seem all that high.

I got my two cases for $300 each bacl in September and paid for them at the same time.I just hope I don't miss out if the set is oversold and the product is allocated.

You know it will be tempting for sellers to supply the cases to the later buyers who paid higher prices and refund early buyers who paid lower prices.

It wouldn't surprise me if that happened. I'm just glad I ordered from my local dealer whom I've ordered quite a bit from in the past so I'm not too worried about getting my 2 cases. I paide $325 per case when I could have gotten them off ebay at $300 per way back when I ordered but I prefer peace of mind, not to mention since they are nearby I usually get my cases 1 or 2 days after they do rather than the 2-3 weeks it usually takes from ebay.

2 more cases to the list here, i didn't notice is there a running tally somewhere on this board?

I got my 2 cases for just over $300 ea from a distributor whose policy is to fill accepted orders even if they have to go out on the open market and pay more if they get shorted. I will typically recieve my order ON street date.

It's just not cases. I had this happen to me on Marvel Masterpieces UD. I preordered a box at $65 in Oct. from a dealer and they called UD to see if they would get enough boxes to fill their orders. They called me back and said they would get enough and took the preorder. The Saturday after release they sent me an e-mail saying they didn't get enough boxes to fill my order. They would send me a refund.

I called the following Monday and they had boxes for sale at $90.

Back in August and September I ordered a total 10 cases from three sources, one of them an eBay seller. When the PayPal Buyer Protection Policy was about to lapse I requested a refund from him so I could submit a new payment immediately and re-start the clock. He complied. After another 45 days when I requested to do the same thing again, the seller was agitated and actually questioned "Why don't you trust me?" Obviously I don't trust any seller who asks for trust at the same time he consciously intends to deprive me of any recourse to recover my $1200 or merchandise.

Furthermore, the eBay seller continued (paraphrased) "go ahead and cancel and I'll send your refund because I'm going to sell your cases for a lot more now." (I am not exaggerating and have the emails to prove it.) Obviously I cancelled the order.

The point? Incarnadine, I think your approach was best. (These were my first pre-orders for for my first trading cards ever and I've learned the lesson.)

So, I do have some cases ordered for under $300 but the more recent replacement cases cost me about $360.

I figure with the combination of three sellers and both early and late purchases I'll be receiving at least some of my cases, if not all.

Two boxes preordered and paid for.

I've got about a case and a half on order. Don't know if I'll get them all but I'll be happy with what I get.

The last date posted was Jan. 23 I think.

Both Heroes and LOTR Masterpiece 2 will be released at the same date. Hopefully, no more delays.

I just got the opportunity to increase my order from 4 boxes to a case. I'm extremely happy with this because they are so long sold out. And I still got them on a very good deal $46 a box.

That's a good price, considering how great the demand is now.

I was able to get 2 cases from a distributor early on, but the remainder he had dted up very quickly.

I'm waiting with bated breath to find out what my allocation will be. I've just e-filed my income tax so I may even have my refund just in time!
