It's kind of a tough time to buy at the moment now that the release date got pushed back so far. A lot of dealers already did their pre-sells and can't order any more and technically nobody should be selling on ebay as the policy is an item has to be shipped within 30 days of auctions end (although that doesn't deterr some sellers).

The only thing I can think of is that the fight between two members that went on for two pages caused the mods to temporarily remove it. Feel free to correct me if there was a different reason.

oh joy is this the bit about the sticker autos? I had read about three posts of that and then left for a day when I came back and refreshed it was gone. It really went one for two pages wow some people need to get out more I think. I hope they put the other 30+ pages back at some point though.

Hope to get at least a couple of boxes. I'd luuuurve to get a Milo Ventimiglia auto (if he signs, that is).

I love the series, but cannot get excited about this set at all.

I talked with Topps at the Philly show. Can you say January 2008? And they are REALLY trying for Hayden and Ali (saw the auto blanks)

So long as the delays are to make the product better they can take as long as they need.

It's when the delays are so more product can be produced diluting the overall quality that I object.

Hi everyone, I'm new here, finally I've found somewhere I can talk to people about trading cards

Anyway, I've purchased 1 case of Heroes cards, bummer that they keep changing the release date, I ordered 3 months ago now.
This is the first time I've bought a case before, hopefully it will a really good spread of auto's, relics and sketch cards, too bad there's only one per box.

I just really hope the sketch cards are decent, some of the other sets have had some pretty plain sketches drawn.

Hi Sidewinder, welcome to Card Talk. This set is starting to come together - slowly. Topps has been able to sustain interest despite the delays and appears to be making a big effort to put out the best set it can. I don't think that the sketch cards are going to be a disappointment to anyone who is lucky enough to pull one. I am trying to get some money together for a few more boxes but this is not the best time of year for saving!

I have seen a few sketches on the Topps site and some look amazing, I think they'll do really well. How many boxes or cases have you ordered? Also where does everyone buy their cases from? I buy off of Ebay, but obviously these people get their cards from somewhere, can you order directly from the websites?
I paid US$350 for a case, don't know if that's a good price or not, but it was certainly cheaper than a case of Supernatural cards US$560.

I'm happy with the signers, though it would be good for Ali and Hayden to also sign seeing as there are no women at the moment that are signing. I know Hayden signed around 20 at the comic con and they sold for over US$1000 on the bay, I kind of expected that she would also be signin for the actual set and was the reason why she went to the comic con.

Btw do you know how many cases have actually been made for this set?

I'm getting 4 boxes at the moment Sidewinder, but I might be upping that total soon, I'll just have to see. As far as recommending where to buy your cards, I'm afraid forum rules prevent me from commenting, but Card Talks own Retailer Advertising Forum might be a good place to start. You could always use your search engine on your pc too. From your recent posts I have already seen your building quite a variety of sets. Best luck & happy hunting.

Supernatural would be more expensive because it has 10 boxes in a case instead of 8 and also has a costume and an autograph in each box rather than one or the other.Thus a case of Supernatural has 20 premium cards against Heroes 8.
