Wow, does that ever suck. It's not like they shot up way higher than they started. The ver lowest bargain basement price was $290 by 1 dealer at the beginning (a few others were around $300), right now they can still be had under $320. I paid slightly more for the security of using my trusted local dealer and the fact I get my cards 1 day after they do, no long waits. Your dealer is willing to lose a customer for maybe $20-$30 a case? Not exactly grooming future business.

Exactly. simply do not respond to the post. The point of the post was to get a rough idea of just now many cases the collective NSU board WILL be getting.

Well, a rough conservative estimate is 90 cases accounted for so far. Kinda makes you wonder just how much buying clout NSU members have, I always figured we were maybe a vocal 2-4%. 90 cases is a lot, especially since that's just from the people who did the poll, no doubt there are a number of silent NSU'ers or ones who haven't seen it yet so I wouldn't be surprised if the total so far is less than half the true number.

At first I ordered one case, but I upped it to two cases last week Loved the show and Topps have really taken a step up regarding inserts (costumes actually worn in show etc.) Hopefully we`ll see some more signers also.

This is one of those sets that is too big to buy just a little, if you are after Hobby chase cards. There's 33 sketch-card artists (at least), with at least 4 autos and 4 costume cards. I'm not thinking of going after a set of artists or character-art, so I might just go after a couple of Retail boxes and enjoy the base cards and retail chase.
That said, the pricing point for packs/boxes/cases is pretty decent for the Hobby High Insert crowd.
