Hey Shaun I just won an ebay auction for 38 packs for the price of $.99. Once I get them I will see if I get the 1 card you need. I almost forgot about Genio cards until I saw this thread, I have around 150 different cards and I used to have the Binder but I believe one of my nephews confiscated it along with my doubles. I myself never got a foil card from any packs I opened, but maybe I will with this batch coming my way. Also Elaine let me know what Storm and Elektra cards you just got I'm sure I will have some doubles. | |||

Blimey you were not kidding about these foils. I just went through all my cards and only found 10 foils out of all the cards i have. The foils are actually really nice when tilted into the light. 13. Well, I just want to say a HUGE thank you to all you lovely people out there who have helped me sooooo much with this Genio card business!!! I am totally stoked and really touched by all the help and suggestions! (Am I gushing now?!) By the way Sean, I have got two Genio binders, would you believe, bought in error, so you can have one of them. I will have to wait a little while until I can fund the postage but rest assured fella, it's all yours.  | |||

Totally confused now.  I have 2 copies of # 205 Elektra. Neither are foil but they have diffrent pictures. One says Bonus super hero card. I have 2 copies of #325 Iron man. They are diffrent pictures and both say Bonus super hero card. It's weird isn't it!!! I was saying to Sean that I had one of the cards he needed but that I had four different versions of it!!! If it was a straight forward parallel holofoil set that would be fine, but this baffles me dude!! | |||

Hey Mig  With that many packs I would certainly think that you would get a fair few silver ones, but I will be interested to see how you do!!! Maybe I was just very lucky because I got quite a few!! | |||

Dammit Stewart I have now been through literally 1000's of swap Genio cards and never found a single variation. Just in passing, from what I'm reading on this thread the only variants and foils seem to be the Marvel character cards. No one to date has reported any change in the science cards or recorded any of the science cards in foil. The spread of the foils seems to be erratic too. I bought half of my cards in 36 card starter boxes which contained an A4 sized poster (5xdifferent)and the rest in foils (3xdeifferent) Neither form delivered any more than the two foils that I scored and sadly I cannot remember if they came from the packets or the boxes. ____________________ My dog is a RotweillerXLabrador. Szym, the cards are like game cards only sell at retail stores. I never remember see the cards in stores, but I saw the notebooks and other merchandise about Marvel Genio. The checklist http://abs-cards.net/checklists/genio.html | |||

Many thanks for posting this checklist. It does not however say anything about the variants which we know exist. It does say the foils are 1 : 111 packs. I just got my Genio packs today and opened all of them, no foils of any kind. Also I would've thought that with 38 packs x 9 cards per pack for a total of 342 cards and somewhere around a 100 cards of my own already that I could make close to a full set. Nope only have 197 cards towards the set. How disappointing. | |||

If my theory is correct then you are only looking for 30 foils, one for each set of 12 cards (and therefore only the Marvel characters. Even so, at the rate of 1:111 cards you would at the very least have to look at 3330 cards to get a full set and that's only if collation was perfect. My best idea is that if everyone sends me all of the foils that they have, I will do my best to put together as complete a full set as I can on behalf of you all.Now I can't be fairer than that can I?? ____________________ My dog is a RotweillerXLabrador. Hey Wolfie looking at Ebay it looks like there are a silver super hero bonus set and a gold super hero bonus set. But I'm wondering if those were only available in the Uk as those are the only sellers with them. Also I think btlfannz may be right as those sellers are selling them as sets of 30 and the cards do say super hero bonus cards. | |||

Yes i agree with that but i don't think those sets are foils. I have bonus super hero cards which are not foils.
