I am just recently getting back into collecting. And I have bought Season One "Games of Thrones" box. My question is this: While looking at the checklist at Rittenhouse Archives, they list a base set and then a "Parallel" Base set. Anybody can tell me the difference? Thanks

the parallel set has a "foil like" finish on the front. You should have several in your box. sort the cards and look at the fronts of them
