All of the emails have gone out. You should have received something from nsusecretsanta@gmail.com that starts:
<Your Name>
For this year's Secret Santa you are sending to

IF you have not received this email from either nsusecretsanta@gmail.com or from Mousey Elf herself please let us know!

In short time we will have the cut-off dates for parcel mailing for both the US and International Locations - if you happen to know your cut-off date and wanna tell me so we don't spend hours trolling postal websites looking for it, that'd be great too *lol*

ANY questions, ANY comments, ANY suggestions for improvement - please let us know. We don't wanna hear "I don't like who you picked for me" Pfffft on you - now you get coal Smile

Otherwise, we wanna hear what you have to say!

So go out, start shopping, have FUN. When you receive your package (NOT OPEN IT, just receive it) please let us know so we can track appropriately.

You will also get a Twak from me!

As Overworked Elf hinted, one of you will be receiving a very special e-mail from me. Are you the chosen one? Time will tell - but you'd better not!

It seemed appropriate. Wink

Just as in years past, we will be using the list of participants on page 1 to keep track of who has received their packages. When you receive your package please post here or drop us an e-mail.

Please remember that the Royal Mail and their employees are playing silly sods with each other and we are in the midst of strikes Shake Head

Evil santa started my email with the name of one of the largest dealers going. Thankfully it was a joke - one I saw when I eventually came 'round Razz

Graham:

I just read where the strikes have been called off:

"Royal Mail strikes are called off" on BBC News

Not sure what this means exactly though. I've heard there is a ton of mail in the pipeline so I don't know if things immediately get back to normal or if that takes a while? Does anyone here know -- I'm curious myself as I have something to ship over (and no, it's not my Secret Santa pressie....or is it? Big Grin)

Here's a question. Should we include our card talk name with the package, or should we just put "from santa"?

That's up to you. There's no rule about this. Do you want credit or do you want to remain anonymous?? It's your call. The only consideration is that it's a bit hard to mail a package without a return address though some members have found inventive ways around it.

I'll step up at this point and offer to anyone that I would be happy to be a middleman if you didn't want you're gift recipient to know who you are. Send me the wrapped package and for the cost of postage I'll forward it on to your Giftee.

Also, some dealers will gift wrap and send items purchased from them direct to your Secret Santa receipient. Not saying which ones will, but most Card Talk Dealers are pretty easy to get along with.

It really is up to you. I know in the past, senders have been successful writing (for example)

Secret Santa
1234 Main St
Lansdale PA 55555
USA

on their packages as the return address, and the postal service tends to accept that for customs forms too *lol* - as long as the mailing address part is correct.
