Not sure if this has been addressed yet, but will there be a specific "official" thread where Secret Santa participants can post their want lists? I know that there are general want categories listed when we get our assignments, but it would sure help me to see what specifically my giftee is looking for. Smile

Wouldn't that be kind of like asking for certain gifts?

Your best hope is probably to see if your giftee has a trade list going. That's the best place to find what people are looking for.

Well, I just remember last year that we did look to see if our giftee had a trade list, but mine didn't have one posted last year. I just want to get an idea what to get my recipient. Smile

My giftee last year didn't have a trade list either and I was completely stumped. I think I gave them something they did not really want or need for their collection. Frown

I agree exactly with what Ed said. In year's past, this is what I have done too and hoped and prayed they had a list going, or posted somethign that would provide a clue about things they might like.

There's a bloke on the forum named H_Toser that as far as I know has never posted a wants/trade list. I pity the poor soul that gets him Big Grin

Um, you could always get that guy CDs. Roll Eyes Though you'll have trouble with that too as he has a lot.

But really, he'll take most anything. He's not too picky.

I was thinking that even though this is a nonsport Secret Santa, if your giftee doesn't have a wantlist or preferences, you could always get them something that is non-nonsport related. Last year, my giftee didn't have a list, so I got her a combination of a couple nonsport cards and a regular gift. Smile

I'm SOOO not difficult. I have TWO children that have the same love for pop culture, comic books and television as I do. Having said that, this year I'm not participating due to having said "yes" to too many other committments, so your only difficult person is Harris *lol* And even I would dread that, though I'd probably go the non-card route Smile
