I'm already on record as being an avid collector of sell sheets. I'm missing a ton, myself, and I have tons of extra. I now have a handle on what I have in my collection but I am still attempting to locate and compile my duplicates.

I don't store them in UltraPro pages. I have been buying 200 sheet boxes of archive quality protectors used for documents. It's been awhile since I needed to buy any but I beleive they were around $15.00 at Sam's Club. They are not as bulky yet offer adequate crease protection.

One other hint. I worked it out with my local sportscard dealer. If he saves me all of the paper that comes into his shop then I will extend the longevity of his town's landfill by taking it all off of his hands. The pack rat that I am, I may need to add on a seperate room to my home to house my sports sell sheets!!

sell sheets are colourful A4 size sheets of paper which the card manufacturers put out ahead of their set release to advertise their coming attraction.
They range from a simple one sided print to a fold out booklet and tell you all about the forthcoming set.

-Sell Sheets are also great in that some of them have checklists of what the upcoming set will have (at least the recent Rittenhouse Archives ones do, including the chase subsets). It's also cool beacuse when last minute changes do occur, you get to compare what would have been released in the set's breakdown vs the final product (which is reflected in the card checklists, which are printed with the final changes)

- Sell Sheets are generally sized 8½" x 11". However they do come in other sizes as well. Inkworks had a 11" x 17" dual product sell sheet at the last Philly Show promoting the {Buffy Season 6}/{Angel Season 3} sets.

- Sell sheets have come a long way from the B/W or single color ones printed on 8½" x 11" regular stock pieces of paper to the current glossy single or double sided sheets that smell like they just came off the presses (because at most shows, they literally did, that very morning. )

- Remember to pick them up at the Philly Show (along with your promo cards) as these tend to be gone by show's end, when dealers swoop in to grab them by the tens of dozens to use as sell stock.

I dunno that sell sheets are as valuable a tool to us net folks as they used to be as the websites are so darn informative, but as I mentioned earlier, they were my websites bread and butter at offering collectors a sneak peek at the upcoming products. Usually the earliest info and first peek at images. I loved the day my sell sheet came in the mail!
