Long term planning help!
This is a while away yet, but I've started to plan a possible UK CardCast Outside Broadcast episode (hopefully, assuming nothing goes wrong with my mortgage, passport renewal and sundry other things) and after Googling around, I'm just getting confused!
I'm looking for inexpensive but clean and comfortable accommodation in Chicago and New York - is there much of a B&B (Bed and Breakfast) scene in those cities? If so, can anyone make recommendations for websites? Bearing in mind I don't drive, reasonably central, or Downtown locations would be preferred!
I'm not looking to book anything yet - I'm just trying to get an idea of how much I need to save up!
Au Res.,
Paul

NYC to Allentown is around 100 miles. Contact Cardtalker Jane as she knows a way to get to the show from NYC via public transit.

Chicago once you get there is pretty easy to navigate with the L train (but It has been a few years since I was there).

Both cities in my opinion are pretty non-driver friendly unlike LA.

Try Groupon. I have found some really good hotel deals on that site.

Look on expedia for hotels etc and then look to see if you can get the rooms cheaper direct.
