Does anyone know how they go about doing this. How do you know where you are at ground level?

I've only been in a couple of these, and we were given a "map" of the maze, so you can tell where you are, more or less. Plus, there have been people inside the maze giving directions in case you get lost.

These are really cool to walk through, and just a little creepy at night. You halfway expect a horror movie creature to come at you through the corn.... Eek

Thanks Will, sounds good, however that is not what i meant. I was wondering how you make the thing in the first place, as you go through the corn cutting your path how do you know what you are doing in terms of that picture.

No idea, but finding your way out of a regular corn field is card enough...

Maybe they have someone in a tree telling them where to go Big Grin

We don't do this sort of thing in NYC, just graffiti Wink, but I would guess that they map it out like a stencil using the dimensions of the corn field. Then you'd have to put down markers and check from a plane before you made the actual cuts.

A regular maze would be fairly simple to draw up. This Family Guy one is pretty cool and probably a lot harder. Cool
