Can anyone help me find somewhere to obtain protective cases for action figures? Like the Con exclusive star wars figures with the plastic outer case. I have a very rare figure from the Transformers movie and I want to protect it.

Cheers

You might check around for anyone who sells Starting Line-Up figures, as I have seen cases for these in the past. I don't collect them, so I can't really tell you where to look, but any sports card shop may have them or be able to get them, or you might try on eBay.

By the way, is your avatar Eddie from Iron Maiden? (Too small for me to see clearly, or else my eyes are going much worse on me lately...)

If you go to Yahoo and enter "Acrylic action figure display", you'll find a number of possibilities.

Wal-Mart used to sell some cases but that was several years ago and I'm not sure if they still do.

Thanks for your help guys (I'll have to try these ideas.

Yes it's Eddie from Live after Death Smile

The figure is the Lawson's exclusive Gold variant Bumblebee from Japan. I was over there and they were offering it with a pre ordered movie ticket, so I paid for a friends ticket and the Toy arrived a couple of weeks ago. I'm very happy with it, it cost me about AU$25 and people are paying up to 10 times that on the bay Smile
