Over on the Star Wars Celebration site, it was announced that Topps will be giving out 4-different promo cards for their upcoming Galactic Files series. There will be a different promo card given out each day. So far no images or card numbers have been released.

Can someone explain the numbering on these four cards? Thank you.

There was also a post above in one of the other categories, that they were giving away at the same show these interesting cards which combined the Star Wars characters with Disney and the Muppets (e.g. Star Wars meets Disney's Cars, etc)

Does anyone have any of those promo cards ?

That's right, I think they're from a "Celebration" subset within the base set. The 4 numbers for the promos aren't totally consecutive either (there are a couple of missing numbers within the sequence), so those cards in the subset not made as promos will probably feature R2-D2 and C-3PO.

Here's a video preview of the 106 sketch cards I drew for this upcoming “Star Wars Galactic Files” trading card set. The cards were drawn between June 12 and July 23, 2012. The video was recorded July 24, 2012.

Aside from the 4 that came out in 2012, and the Darth vader from the recent NSU, are there any other Galactic Files promos ?

Not that I know of, unless you count the Luke and Vader giveaway disks for the center of The Circle is Now Complete insert set. I consider those part of the insert set, not promos.

The Luke and Vader Circle cards are from "Jedi Legacy", the set that came in between the two Galactic Files sets.

Oops, you are right. That's what happens when Topps fires these sets out like they are going out of business. It's all a big blur.

And there's one more to come this year, "Star Wars Illustrated"!
