Don't know if anyone is collecting these. They are a charity organizations that have all the good wishes of Lucasfilm to produce their own cards. Many of the stars including George Lucas are on them but most are of members in costume. Naturally, the more desirable ones are the stars. I sometimes see members of these groups at conventions dressed in character handing out cards. Anyone ever try to create a check list on these? I know there are 2 major groups the 501st Legion and the Rebel Legion but I also think there are fringe groups that make their own cards. As far as I can tell these are fairly large sets.

I ask members of the 501st for these cards when I attend my local conventions and events. But the last two times I've asked members of the 501st Squadron {at the TempleCon in Warwick, RI. last Feb. and a small Star Wars event in Attleboro, Mass. event} I've struck out. The members didn't have any and a few members didn't even know what I was talking about. Oh well, I'll keep asking. Plus there's a good show coming up in late November up in Framingham, Mass {the Super Mega Fest}.

I've noticed that the 501st has begun identifying the year of issue on the back beginning in 2009. So, in a sence there are at least four series. Unless they came from one manufacturer and the company was authorized to hold back a few to make sets, it would be almost impossible to put a set together but they are fun to collect.

Not everyone in the 501st chooses to have cards made, so that's probalby why some troopers don't know about it. As Frank mentioned, some of the Garrisons(local 501st chapters) have their own sets, so there's the 501st set, local Garrison sets and the Rebel Legion.

WOW! Thanks for the site link BOND. There are even more cards then I thought. The site looks like it has not been updated in a long time as there are a lot more cards now out there then shown. I would love a Kristen Bell card. Anyone have one? I do have some duplicates including the George Lucas which was my Holy Grail card for the longest time.

I am also looking for Mego cards and stickers.
