It was sad to see that Donruss is not able to attend the next Philly show in Allentown in 2 weeks, but they will be providing a show exclusive promo which is great. As of yesterday, they had not decided yet what the promo will be though.

I was also told that there are 25, yes 25 promos coming out for Americana Celebrity Cuts and Americana Series 2. I have no idea yet who will be on the promo cards or how they will be distributed.

That is a large number of promos and if like Series 1, a lot of them will be next to impossible to find. I personally still need 4 of the Series 1 promos and there was a lot less Series 1 promos. I was also told that the Bogart promo from Series 1 was sent to the estate for their use probably making that one impossible to get as well.

I'll post more if I learn more...

The first Donruss Americana II Promo that I have seen is of Mickey Rooney. The card does not have a card number, but the word promo is on the back of the card. The stain on the photo of Mickey is printed on the card...

I contacted Fight Magazine about the 3 Americana II promos that are exclusives for them. This is what they had to say:

This is actually a special promo for our subscribers. All the subscribers will receive a bagged copy of FIGHT! with a promo card inside, and 1/100 will have a special autograph or memorabilia card inserted.

So I guess unless you subscribe ($18.99 a year from their web site), you will not be able to get any of the 3 exclusives and most likely if you do subscribe, only 1 of the 3...

Two of the Fight Magazine exclusive promos have appeared on the auction sites, the Urijah Faber and the John McCarthy. I've only seen 1 of the latter, but a bunch of the Fabers have shown up

There was also supposed to be a third exclusive-- Jason Miller. Anyone see that one yet ? I have not.

I called Fight magazine the other day. They told me that these cards were only available to people who subscribed to the magazine a month or so ago, that they came in the June issue. However, they're not in the newsstand version nor can you get them anymore. The offer is over.

I got two of these (one is the Mickey Rooney, I can't remember the other one) thanks to none other than Bill D.
They are some nice cards!

I dropped them a letter and SASE and they sent back four promos - one of the Jerry Lewis Celebrity Cuts, John Wooden Sports Stars, William Shatner TV Stars and Georges St. Pierre Ring Kings promos.

I picked up 6 new ones the other day. They are

Willie Nelson, Willie Mays (not the same as the one for Series 1 from last year, the new one is for the Celebrity Cuts set), Ring Kings Jason Miller, Sean Sherk, Houston Alexander, and Cung Lee

If anyone wants to see scans, I can post them.

Another Ring Kings promo has surfaced-- Dan Henderson

The only Ring Kings on Mike's list above that I have yet to see is Rich Franklin

I don't know if any else noticed this, but the Robert Wagner promo in the new NSU is not the same as the one from the Philly show earlier this year. While they have the same fronts, the NSU is numbered PROMO on the back and is non-holofoil, while the Philly one is holofoil and is #ed P-RW.

Also, there are 2 totally different Randy Couture promos. Both have popped up on ebay.

So this set has AT LEAST 26 promos.

And there is also a Karen Allen promo inserted in this NSU according to Harris. Not both in an issue, but one or the other, so at a minimum, you will have to buy 2 NSU's to get both Americana II promos...

Yet another promo has surfaced. There is a Julia Louis Dreyfus ("Seinfeld") promo #ed P-JLD
