Was lucky enough to attend the Joe Jusko signing today where he signed oversized copies of one of the 2014 Marvel masterpieces he is working on. It is a beautiful image of Lady Sif. Joe was there on time and very friendly, a real pleasure to meet. Shame there was only a small queue in attendance. Amazing how a true comic great like this can attract so few attendees but people will queue around the building for a free pin badge or the like for a TV show.

Diamond booth 2401 had Bench Warmers School Girls promos (with Comic Con logo and date). No info was available about signings when I wandered by, there were six different promos on the counter.

Saw a lot of promos for Elflandea lying on the ground IFO the convention center that had been well trampled so guess they must have been handed out on the sidewalk. No logo so doesn't appear to be exclusive to CC and no indication how many are available.

There was also ACC1 to 6 which came in two versions each, refractor and holofoil !

Here are the Upper Deck Marvel Masterpieces giant promos from the Joe Jusko signing at the Upper Deck booth on Friday and Saturday.

I couldn't attend the convention either of the signing days, but luckily, those good folks at Upper Deck (I like them more and more each year!) took pity on me and gave me the ones from the display case on Sunday. I will cherish them.

Most of these out there will be signed, as I was told me they used them all for the signing. Happily, I already have the great Mr. Jusko's autograph many times over, so these are fine just like this.

No single artist has been more important to the Marvel Masterpieces line than Joe Jusko. Not only did he set the standard with the original All-Jusko smash hit set from 1992, he also provided a handful of actual sketch cards for the brand's relaunch in 2007, helping to create enormous buzz for that very successful set. And now, well over 20 years since his pioneering work on the very first set, he's spearheading the third incarnation of the line. There could be no one better to do it.

Once, he was slated to paint an all-Superman set, but that fell through unfortunately. I think there was even a promo issued for that. Maybe someday, we'll get that one, too.

This is Matt Bible with Beckett Media. If anyone has any checklists and/or scans of any of the SDCC promo releases, please email them to me at mbible@beckett.com. I am attempting to compile all the card sets and promos produced for SDCC, import them into our database, and get them ready for pricing next week. I have a pretty good start with the Bench Warmer, Garbage Pail Kids, and Mars Attacks set but I could use some help on the Breygent issues. Thanks!

I was going to say, does anyone have a definitive list of all of the Breygent promos at the show ? Seems like the one at the top is incomplete

Here's a promo card that was at the Upper Deck booth. It's standard size on regular card stock and promotes The "Legendary" deck building playable card game, this one based on the "Alien" sci-fi horror movie franchise which is celebrating it's 35th anniversary.

These are a couple of new additions to the standard sized, regular cardstock promos that have been issued to promote books by author Sherrilyn Kenyon.

I don't know if these were the only new ones this year, but there were quite a few of them last year, and I think she had some the year before that, too, so this must be a pretty big set by now, if complete.

This is a 12 card pack promoting the book/multimedia experience "End Game", to be published later this year. This was available at one of the Book Publishing booths.
Apparently, those who play along with the series (the format I'm not exactly sure of) will be given clues that will enable one intrepid reader to win a pretty big real money cash prize.

The latest promo card promoting the work of artist Hannah Lynn, a Pen & Ink an watercolor specialist.

She's been given these out for at least 3 or 4 years now, so this too, would be part of a larger set.

Hey,1

We missed you at the dinner but I heard that the Symphony show was awesome from Tom Breygent.

Did you get the Iron Man 75 anniversary promo or the 2 IDW cards?

I'm getting email so people are seeing my post!

I guess we'll see each other next month?

I had one extra Comic-Conner that I was going to do a draw for, but your extremely generous TEN of them trumps that in a big way, especially since people only need to PM you to get one.

If you don't get all 10 requests quickly (as I suppose you might anyway), it may just be because people aren't seeing the offer. You may want to give this its own thread. It's certainly worthy of it. As I mentioned, I have mine, but it's nice to know I might've been table to get one from you here had I struck out at the show.

Hope my buddy picked this up when he got the Jusko cards for me.
