Dear Bill DeFranzo,

I wonder if you and your magazine might not begin providing a service to those readers who are promo card seekers. As you have contact with the trading card manufacturers, could you not obtain a list of exactly where the promo cards for a particular series will be distributed?

For example, with this month's release of the newest set of X-Files cards, it would be helpful if people knew exactly where the various promo cards for the series will be found. (Promo card P1 was obtained at the company website. Promo card P2 can be found......)

It's often frustrating to have to simply have to guess where a wanted promo card can be found. By telling the readers exactly where to look for the promo cards, the trading card companies get more recognition for there products, your magazine gains more readers by attracting people in search of needed cards, and the readers themselves benefit by knowing where to look for those cards. A list of promo card locations seems like a proverbial "win/win" situation for everyone.

Please consider this suggestion. Thank you.

I like your idea. If a manufacturer is willing to supply the information rather than our speculating and assuming, then I could at least post it here. Maybe it would lead to something more formal.
