Just to give all you promo collectors a bit of advance warning, there will be something slightly different about the Bench Warmer promos in the upcoming issue (Apr/May; shipping in about 3 weeks). Bench Warmer accidently printed an old version of the NSU logo on the reverse of the card. They later corrected it with our current version of the logo. I am under the impression that these were printed in nearly equal amounts.

And, to make things even more complicated, but more fun!, 100 of these promos can be found hand-autographed by Kitana Baker and Tany Ballinger, the Miller Catfight Girls who are pictured on the cards. These cards are hand-signed and numbered out of 100. The autographed cards are the cards with the old version of the NSU logo (there is NOT a version of this with the new logo). This will all be explained and shown on page 48 of the upcoming issue.

That's the scoop! Have fun.

Harris

PS: Please keep an eye on the Current Issue Page for preview images of this card as well as the other 5 promos that will be inserted in the upcoming issue. Three of the promos are pictured there now and I'll be posting the others in the next few days.

I just hope someone leaves me a magazine on the rack. I can see them flying off the shelves now.

(I wonder how long it will take for someone to do the math on this one. Wink )

I can see that some dealers are going to be stripping the mags for the promo's again rather than sell the magazine at a lower price, guess it pays to subscribe after all. Big Grin

Or... Deal with those you can trust and let the others sit there and wonder why their stripped magazines don't sell. Thumb Up

What a GREAT issue, I hope I get one. But a benchwarmer promo on it's own will be a treat.

Hi Harris and all

thanks for the heads up
About the next issue Thumb Up

Happy I get my NSU magazine in the mail and I never had a problem.

For some reason the promo cards that come in the NSU magazine that comes in the mail to me are not damaged at all. They come mint condition all the time.

SUBSCRIBE AND SAVE
ALSO
You will not miss a issue if you subscribe.

I am very happy with my NSU subscription.
Since I got it.
I do not have to travel 45 minuets each way for a NSU magazine any more. Or to see if the store got it in yet.

By the way, this card and 5 of the 6 that will be in the next issue are now pictured on the Current Issue page. The last one, Harry Potter, should be posted soon.

I'm curious as to if the autos are distributed evenly between subscribers and other distributors, like Diamond Comics?

Yes, they are supposed to be even across the entire run of promos that came in from the company. This should be interesting! I hope that some of the Card Talk members pull an auto and that you'll post if you do.
