Our six-part "The Birth of the Trading Card: From Concept to Consumer" feature in NSU continues. Its author, Charlie Novinskie, is looking for some input from you, the collector. Charlie has asked me to post the note below here on the forum. I hope that you'll all consider helping out. Thanks a lot!

Dear Fellow Card Collectors:

I need your help! I’m looking for input on part five of my column on the birth of a trading card series in Non-Sport Update magazine. I’m looking for your input on what cards you buy, and why. Simply answer the questions below and then e-mail to: charlienovinskie@hotmail.com . Feel free to be as verbose as you like. I will try to use everyone's response as space permits—and thanks in advance for all your help.

1. Card Talk user name

2. Real name

3. Where do you live—city, country

4. Number of years you have been collecting cards

5. Approximately how many cards you now own

6. Name the best card set you’ve purchased in the past year (and explain why)

7. Name the card set you are most looking forward to

8. Where do you buy your cards? (i.e. online, mail order, store)

9. Explain your purchases (i.e. individual packs, boxes, cards, sets, etc)

10. Which company do you feel is doing the best job of producing non-sport card sets, and why?

11. Do you feel the card industry has improved over the past five years? Explain.

BONUS: If you could ask any card company a question, what would it be? (I’ll try to do a separate column getting answers to those questions).

You guys are great! Charlie told me he couldn't beleive he already had 10 entries when he first logged on today. I imagine he has quite a few more now. Keep 'em coming.

Anyone like Charlie who can write such a GREAT series of articles deserves some feedback! He'll have mine this evening.

Is there a 'must reply by' date to send emails in by? as i really want to give my thoughts on this, but can't really put much thought into it until next tuesday. is this too late?
