Well, as I sit awaiting the latest issue of NSU to be delivered, I can only be curious if the bit I sent in on "Law Enforcement-Crimestoppers" cards made it to print in the "Finders Keepers" section. Will somebody lemme know. It was submitted under my real name (Brad Tennant). Thanks!!!

Yup! These cards are produced by Mint Cards (1-800-529-4761) and are made available to members of various law enforcement agencies. The fronts of the cards picture either an officer, K9, or other type of LE related equipment. The backs feature anything from personal stats to tips on preventing crime. I have no idea if it is possible to get a complete set or how many officers/agencies had cards made. I have several from across the nation which picture motorcycles, helicopters, police vehicles, K9's and their handlers, memorials, etcetera. These cards are usually handed out to children in the appropriate jurisdictional community. I do have a few sets from my local agancy which consists of ten cards if interested.

Brad,

It really depends when you submitted it in relationship to NSU's publishing schedule. I once submitted a Finders-Keepers, and it took 2 issues until it appeared. Do not give up hope...

Mike.
