It should, baring any last minute problems, be online tonight (UK time).
It's a biggie. A while ago, I decided to do a 'Sketch Show' special, and as a result, the episode includes long interviews with sketch artists Dave Fox, Kate 'RED' Bradley and Patrick Hamill, as well as some shorter interviews with sketch artists Harris recorded at the New York ComicCon, as well as the usual conversation with Harris (with additional 'Surprise Special Guest' Big Grin), and a restored "News" section; in fact it runs to just short of two hours, so I've had to split it into two parts! (I've noticed, on my MP3 player at least, that anything over about 90 minutes can cause problems on playback; plus the file size on longer podcasts tend take to longer to download - splitting into two parts means you can be downloading part two whilst listening to part one!)
Last night I finished the editing, tonight I bring the whole thing together, uploading to the host and set up the RSS feed and updated website.
If you listen directly from the website, there will be TWO links; one for each part - if you use iTunes of other RSS feed reader, you'll need to watch out for both parts if you don't want to miss out (I'll be asking questions at the end!)
Au Res.,
Paul

OK, so Episode 09 has now been uploaded - you should be able to listen to it immediately by following the links on the website (cardcast.co.uk) or, if you use iTunes of an other RSS Feed reader, it should be showing up over the next hour or so. Ish.
I am now going off to lie down in a darkened room. Smile
Au Res.,
Paul

Paul, I just finished listening to both episodes, great job, the sketch card artist interviews were spot-on, I especially enjoyed the bit you did with my buddy Kate "Red" Bradley, along with the interviews with Pat and Dave, who also were quite informative. There was even some guy named "Harris" who seemed to make a good account of himself!! Big Grin

I echo what Hammer has said. Really enjoyed it. I have one question for you though.

How do you know when you have enough material for a pod cast? Big Grin

A quick answer - when I've had enough of editing the original recordings! Big Grin
The next episode will be a 5 hour 'mini-series' featuring the highlights from the first 9 episodes, complete with previously unheard 'out-takes' of Harris swearing and cursing (There's easily 20 hours of material there actually - you think Gordon Ramsey is bad... Big Grin)

Advance notice - the next main episode probably won't be out until the middle/end of June, due to certain family committments that take priority at the beginning of June (my brother is getting married and I'm joint Best Man with his son!)
However, I am working on something to 'fill in the gap', so to speak, and if it works out you might see it online soon-ish.
Au Res.,
Paul

Congrtas to your brother.

Will your Best Man speech be included in the next podcast?

Oh and Paul, Did you do that disc for me? I really miss not being able to hear the podcasts. I'll have to get a PC sound man in.

I beg to differ! Bats is my boy! (Thats slang talk of course... twould be rather impossible for me to have spawned the Bat)

Sorry for posting about this sooo late, but I really want to say how much I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with Dave and Paul. You guys were so funny and kind and silly! I'm glad you've got such a nice response to your podcast. It really was a good listen. I hadn't heard Jeff Chandlers voice since last year,so it was really cool to hear him again!

Thanks Dave for telling me where this thread was! Now I've posted in two threads! I'm wild i tells ya, WILD!

Oh and congrats on your bros wedding Paul! I hope you like the bride Wink Now you know you'll have to post pictures of you all dressed up! giggle
