Apologies - there is a problem at the website I use to host the audio files, which will hopefully be resolved shortly. The episode is ready to go - I just can't upload it!
As soon as it's online, I will advise!
Au Res.,
Paul

Congratulations Graham. Drop me an email and you can let me know what character you want drawn. (A choice of 3 or 4 different would be good!)

The podcast is up now with the 7 winners names being announced as they are pulled out of the hat by Paul/Quaint1. So if you purchased the Cosmic Eye artbook directly from me you may want to listen to the podcast to hear if your number and name came up.

The podcast is at
www.cardcast.co.uk
Click on the words 'prize draw' to listen.

Many thanks to everyone that bought the book from me and I'm sorry that everyone wasn't able to win a piece of art.

To the winners: please get in touch to let me know who you want drawn, a selection of 3 or 4 choices would be greatly appreciated.

And my thanks to Paul/Quaint1 for doing the draw and podcast for me.

Right! As some of you will have realised, the Special Prize Draw episode IS now online, though it's not being hosted at the usual place (archive.org) due to some problem at their end; instead, it's being hosted on my own personal webspace - this means that it may not be quite as stable as usual!
Once I am able to upload it to Archive.org I will do so - this should be transparent!
If you subscribe via iTunes or other subscription server/RSS reader, you should find the latest episode in your list now; if you get it directly from the CardCast.co.uk website, I've fixed the link there now as well!
In the meantime, enjoy - and thanks to Nik for giving me the opportunity to find a use for the hat...!
Au Res.,
Paul

Hot on the heels of the Special Episode; the latest full episode, #20, is now working it's way online and should be available at all the usual places shortly. This is the annual Harris Toser "What I Did On My Vacation" report on SDCC and features interviews with Otis Frampton, Leah Mangue, Matt Busch and Nicole Falk!

Already prepping Episode 21, which should be out in September and which will be (subject to last minute changes) an Artist Special!
Au Res.,
Paul

Thanks Jeff!
I'm in the middle of getting the next one sorted out, and it's a biggie - probably another two parter devoted to artists!

Paul

I doubt anyone is all that bothered, but just in case there is one lonely Card Talker wondering what's happening with the podcast, I am nearing the end of the editing process and I hope to get the next episode (#21) online in the next week. As vaguely threatened in my last post, it's going to be a two part Artist Extravaganza, featuring interviews with four, yes, FOUR artists, plus contributions from regulars Harris Toser and Kris Kersey.
After that I hope to get another, shorter, regular episode in sometime towards the end of October (before the flurry of UK shows!) and there is an NSU/UK CardCast co-production to look forward to in November (assuming I haven't worn out the editing software...)
Au Res.,
Paul

Episode 21 a & b, "The Return of the Sketch Artists" is now online at the CardCast website and will be available on iTunes and other Podcast services soon (as soon as the updated RSS feed has been passed around the Intarwebs!)
Now, a short break before recording the special NSU episode and looking at the busy month of November...

Blimmin cheek!
Actually, that break lasted one day - I recorded, edited and uploaded a new episode of another podcaat I produce this evening!
If it helps, I am already working on an idea for a future episode of CardCast that doesn't involve a show report or a chatty artist... Smile
Au Res.,
Paul
p.s. I'm not complaining about chatty artists!
