This is just a suggestion to the many people who check out this board from time to time. Most of the "regulars" are aware of this already, but I'd like to bring it up. When you see the list for Topics - the highlighted message is just the
NEWEST message there. It is not the only new message. I think quite a few people click on the new message, instead of the topic listing, thereby seeing ONLY the newest message. I've seen a number of potentially interesting topics disappear (yes, this is self serving - but not entirely) and I think this is, in part, contributing to it. I wanted to point it out - just in case.

Mike: Good point. I think I used to do this as well when we first put this software in place. I guess that maybe I shouldn't admit to that but hey, why not. Anyway, I guess us "regulars" sometime forget what it was like when the board was new to us.

I have one or two other tips while we are mentioning this kind of thing. When I am looking at a thread, I always use the "previous" and "next" buttons at the bottom to get to the next set of posts. When I know that I am done and that hitting "next" will give me the message "No further topics available in this direction. Sit tight... We are taking you back to: Referring topic.", I click the 7 of 9 magazine cover at the top. This takes me back to the main page so that I don't have to keep clicking "back".

Anyone else out there have any tips?
