In the 15 years that we have done NSU, we have never once sold names, e-mail addresses, etc. to anyone. I realize that companies do this but I don't think you should make this assumption (or at least insinuate it here publicly) about most magazines; at least, not here on NSU's forum since NSU does not do it.

As for your point B, well, that might be true. And we may be guilty of it.

We send out all copies when they roll off the printing press. We are at the mercy of the various distribution and delivery channels for the length of time it takes to get to their final destination. Obviously some are able to get the magazines in to reader's hands quicker then others. I wish we could dictate to the U.S. Post Office, Diamond Comics, newsstand agents, etc. how long they should take to get the copies out there but that's not an option, of course.

As for why subscribe...well, that's easy. You save a buck an issue. And you don't have to worry about going to the store or if your local store will have the issue. And if your issue goes missing, you have NSU's customer support to fall back on.

I nearly leapt in and subscribed then.

As for the other things, i would have no worries at all along those lines. If i lived in the USA i would subscribe right this minute. I don't really understand why all the USA people are not on subscription, more so if they are using this board.

Totally 100% agree, I would subsrcibe without fail if I lived in the States as I do with a couple of UK mags as i would save money.

Just been to Forbidden Planet in Wolverhampton.

Still no Franky NSU mag.

The bottom line is that I want to subscribe at a sensible rate.

Just for the record, and I am not having a go at NSU - which is a brilliant mag!! (Even if they have dropped the pricing of the Dr Who Strictly Ink Definitive Collections!!)

But it's still a brilliant mag!

Just off to find out if my NSU has arrived.

Well just relented and paid my subscription - put it through the credit card rather than paypal as i will get a slightly better rate. although will still be over £30 can't stand the hassle/tension of trying to find it. Just wish P&P wasn't so damn expensive

I live in Canada and it's hard to find anything here. However, I just picked up my very first copy of NSU at Chapters/Indigo!!! Someone must collect nonsport cards near me because they said that they had a few requests for the mag.

Manager of the shop gaurantees i will get the next one.

Same here at the Croydon FP, grrrrrrr it realy is getting to be a bad joke.

Should be Diamond but last few months seems to be Snails`R`Us.

All the stores in the UK get the NSU through Diamond as they have a monopoly on all USA comics and magazines being distributed in the UK.
This is currently under investigation by the courts i am led to believe.
