I do work for FP and generally most people are happy to be able to buy single cards. We don't make a whole load of money at it, but we do like to provide the service - it can generate a lot of return visits.

That's the OTHER Forbidden Planet group (for there are 2 - a northern group andf a southern group...long story). The selling of individual cards isn't a chain-wide practise, just somethjing some of the stores do if they have the time and the stock...

And I'm all in favour of you "correcting" the facts but you could have just said "your information is incorrect - we do it this way because...." still getting the same message across but doing it in a less confrontational way. I am pleased that somebody actually involved in the shop selling of packs of cards in UK (there are not enough) has joined the board (welcome) and I look forward to any insights you can offer

Ah that would be FP International. Yes long story that i have heard from both sides and i'm still not sure i know the truth.

Howdy exquemeling I think FP is the bestest and if I lived over on that side of the pond I'd be buying there all the time and as such I totally think it'd be fair if you sent me any pieceworks and auto cards just the same...

Not if I actually do get a pw for free it isn't!

I got the convention special today for my gf (big fan of the show). Guess I didn't look closely at the front of the magazine, I assumed I would get the special Lost card and the others too. Bummer that the other cards aren't in the convention specials. Oh well, guess I need to stop assuming and actually use my reading skills
