- Originally 6000 boxes but cut down to 4000 since a few singers backed out. And rather than cut down on the number of autograph/costumes per box (3 Autographs/2 Costume Cards), the production number was cut down. Hence the reason the checklist/sell sheets were redesigned to reflect the changes (to the bowed out signers, production #'s) and hence why they weren't ready for WW East, as I mentioned in my report for that show.

And if anyone who received their current NSU didn't notice, this issue is almost 30% bigger than the last issue. More articles (from vintage sets to current and future sets), more advertisers, and more color images everywhere.


And those that like the "GPK" (standard cover) or the "Buffy" (SDCC variant cover & exclusive Buffy card), there's another one , next NSU around. The standard cover will be a "Xena" cover (standard) as well as a "24" (MidWest NonSport Card Expo Variant cover with an exclusive "24" promo card).

Hi NW Dave!

We did not insert a GPK promo card in the new issue. Sorry about that. Just the GPK cover and cover story.

As for the promos that *are* in the issue...all issues contain the same Buffy, Angel, Chicago Non-Sport Card Expo, and Women of James Bond In Motion promotional cards.

I'm new to CARDTALK & this is my first attempt to post. Now I can see that I'm not the last one (after all) to get the current NSU that shipped July 9. Mine came to the Dallas PO box on July 21. Normally I wouldn't have noticed just how long the mailman made me wait for this issue. BUT....my first (ever!) article was printed in THIS one... So EVERYDAY from about July 15 on, I would make a point to drive over to the PO in hopes it was there (AND IT WASN'T). But what a great FAT issue and well worth the wait! Anybody read "Fill'er with Non-Sports" ?? Would love to get any comments or criticism...Anybody else collect cards, etc. from the Gasoline companies??
Well gotta go! (I'm in the midst of enlarging the Asian Ecstasy ad to poster size!!) only kidding...

I knew I should have gotten 1 of each but I settled on the Buffy cover and now the wait is killing me.
