I chose the Fantastic Fifteen by Alan (not just because he's my editor). The sets covered were the some of the first ones I collected when I got back into the hobby.

I chose the Strip Card article. I do enjoy reading about recent and upcoming sets, but I'm very pleased that NSU has chosen to be consistantly informative about this hobbies roots and development. Thanks for another great issue!

Hey Mike:
If you chose strip cards, why does it have zero votes? Inquiring minds want to know.

This is an interesting phenomena After I voted earlier, I checkedd the results and it HAD listed one vote for Strip Cards. Now it's changed By the way... Doesn't Joanna get to vote?
Let me know what's up?

Yea, you shouldn't have eated those burritos for lunch. Oh, you mean wrong with the voting? No, I don't think you did, nor could you have if you wanted to. I don't think these can be changed.
I don't know what could have happened.

well, I just got mine today and after a quick skim through it, went back to read the articles which jumped out at me, including Jon's new Cards Online and Meg's "Gene" article, which I voted for, I LOVED that article, it is so true! My stepson collects, as it is a learned habbit/obsession from me, but not the way I do, I think, because he does not share the collecting gene! Now we have one more on the way (7 months to go!) and I am SURE she or he will collect, and I have already started planning his/her collection! Going to get some U GO GRL cards just in case it is a girl! LOL I would have to say that Meg wrote a heck of an article, and we hope to see more from her in the future! The wife's perspective is QUITE interesting, since she does not have the gene (how DOES she put up with Steve? - I also wonder how my wife puts up with me too! - no gene there either!)

I had two - I liked the article by Meg Charendoff about her experience with collecting and I liked the article about Strip Cards by Arnold Bailey. What was yours, and if you care to share - why?
Because there are 8 articles, I've split them up into 2 groups of 4

I enjoyed the article on strip cards, I really love the articles about the nuts and bolts of older cards, skip-numbering, short-prints, recalled or replaced cards, numbers of certain cards printed on various sheets, etc. It's the one thing that newer issues don't have, that unknown mystery that has to be solved by good old detective work and and a certain amount of guesswork. I'd like to see an article like that in every issue, and NSU does a good job in bringing those type of articles to us.

Thank you Barrett. I really apreciate that!
