I would like (as I have said before) the New Card review section to give a proper breakdown of the box rather than just stating that there was 1 p/w and 1 autograph + 6 chase. Do it like the breakdown on cardtalk.

yanked this from oblivion, for one obvious reason - what is the difference between the lesser spotted and regular spotted Scott Thomas? I could have sworn I had seen both types and both have the same number of spots....

Perhaps I should change my user name to 'dalmation.' Long, lean, short-haired and spotted when online.

Once again I agree with Kennywood....I wanna see the process of how the cards are created, down to the printing process and what is done with the misprinted sheets (not so I can dumpster dive mind ya!). Also, the idea of a Cardtalk member would make for an interesting column....I would be the first to submit my data.

A recap of Wolfie's momentous rise to the eventual 10,000 posts would be interesting! Thumb Up

Hi,Wave it has been a long time but plan on being a regular now.

I like the idea of a binder article, maybe could show some of the binders.

Also I have an idea of having a picture page(s)where you pick 1 or more card sets and show pictures of a regular card, and a card from each of the subsets. Also any special cards like promos, autograph, and so on showing front and back. It would be nice to see what some sets that you never seen before look like and would help peak interest. You could ask readers to help with the pictures.

I like Lady Gandalf's idea of talking about the binders. I'm still not convinced enough to spend 35.00 for a binder for one set of cards. Talking about why these binders are so special would be cool. Maybe even go into the process, if there is a special one, of how they are made.

Sorry Starwolfie but we don't want to give promotion to something that may not be licensed. NSU wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot light saber.

Now if we were to find out differently, them maybe...

but that's just the point.

if they aren't legal (which i'm leaning heavily towards Roll Eyes) then the people out there should be warned

I totally agree with starwolf!! I just got done reading a thread about how someone has the new X-FILES promo from Inkworks up for sale for 4.00. That's the kind of thing new collectors could be warned about. Maybe do an article on collectors beware-Ebay frauds abound, or something. Unless it's already been done.

Very few of the binders out recently have 'main cast' auto's with them, they seem to be bit part actors who have had their auto's inserted as an incentive to buy the binder. The best of the 'recent' bunch was George Takaei who was in the Trek cartoon series from Rittenhouse. Thumb Up

I used to collect sports cards then I wised up Clap..

One think I always liked in their beckett magazine was the Super Collector.. they took a page and did an article on a super collector.. usually someone who collected a certain team or put the impossible master set together..

Something like that would be cool.

Example if there is a star trek supercollector(or nerd as we like to call them Big Grin ) out there they could do an article about their collection and have a picture of some of the more unique items in their collection...

Also a readers write section where people can send in questions about cards for the staff to answer

P.S. JUST KIDDING ABOUT THE NERD COMMENT PLEASE DO NOT BEAM ME UP AND KILL ME Wave
