Wow! I cannot believe it, I got my new NSU in the mail today. If these really just shipped on Wednesday, that is incredibly fast. The last couple issues it has taken 1 to 2 weeks to get.

Looks great NSU. Lot's of new and reassigned writers this issue.

And of course, I love the promo cards!!!!!!!!

Mike.

It really is the height of my day when I go home and find the latest NSU in my mailbox. I especially can't wait to read my own Promo Column! My editor butchers my submission so badly its an entirely "new read" for me. He (figuratively) puts words in my mouth!

Actually I'm just pulling Alan Biegel's (Mr. Editor)leg a bit! He makes gooder English out of my half-sentences and nonsequiturs. For that, I thank him! Metal

OK, Mr. Promo Guy, you woke me up.
See, what you don't understand is that your column is so good that, if I didn't mess it up a bit, it would make the rest of the writers (including me) look bad. The needs of the many, you know.

Yes, but how far are you from Northern Virginia? That's where U.S. copies of NSU are mailed from.

Sorry for the wait everyone. I think we hate it as much as you but unfortunately, the Postal System is one link in the printing chain that we don't have much control over.

Rest assured, your copies are on the way!

I suspect that the Postal System is one link that the Postal System doesn't have much control over...
</bitter and twisted>

Sorry 'bout that - I had reason to call the Royal Mail 'Customer Service' (cue Mrs Krabapple style "Hah!") line yesterday - for exactly the same reason as usual (they keep delivering someone elses letters to me - only similarity is the house number; everything else is different), so my gruntle is feeling more than a little dis.
