If finally came in the mail. It looks like the post office played rugby with it and the promos..well, what promos? lol. Demolished. Took one look at the mag and tossed it in the trash. Not knocking NSU in anyway..its all about the crappy post office I have to deal with.

Got mine today, starting a new subscription. And it was in pristine condition. Not even a wrinkle on the envelope.

Strange how different post offices can treat the same package with different care.

By the way, my P.O. is very rural, if that makes a difference.

You should of taken it to the PO and showed them what kind of care they took. They might not do anything, but it may of been worth a try.

I think thats a good idea- I doubt they'd do anything, but giving them a little frustration like they gave you could be worth it...

MY PO is so bad (how bad is it?) . . . people think I am scamming them in trades because packages seem to sit for WEEKS before leaving my town's PO.

And my magazines come trashed too - I think they read everything before they deliver it to me.

Very frustrating.

I also live in a very rural area, so even though the mail comes later in the day, it always arrives in pristine condition.

Sorry to hear about your crappy PO service H.I.M., and even though it may not do any good, I'd surely do some complaining. Especially if this is a regular occurance.

I think I call to complain once a month...my mailman constantly bends things that say "do not bend", and if it's something I have to sign for, they just leave one of those "Sorry we missed you" slips without even ringing the bell.

From years of experience with the US Mail I have found that they (the USPS) will replace any periodical damaged with another or request another from the sender if lost. Worth a try.

This is the same reason I cancelled my FHM, Stuff, and Maxim subscriptions. Other reason I cancelled them is that the local newstands got those issues up before I got mine and I was told subscribers are always suppose to get their issue 1 wk before newstands. Plus they kept comming in looking like they got read several times over.

My postal person always bends items. I tried to have them send stuff to my PO Box instead. Well guess what they bend CALENDARS into my small size PO Box. They just stuff whatever they can.

It's really nice to get a Maxim magazine with a crease in the middle. At least those magazines are only about $10-$15 a year.

My hubby subscribes to a car magazine and after numerous bent up copies and finally a missing copy he has changed the address to his work. I also get all my packages sent to his work.

Maybe you can get your mail sent somewhere else you trust like work or a family member?
