Hello Everyone. I've started this new Ad area to promote Charity Events being run by myself and others. My goal is to gather all these events into one place to make it easier to promote them. It will include individual items by myself and other artists, bigger events like the ComicsToCure Ebay auctions and everything in between. It could even include you. If you know of a charity event related to non-sport trading cards, especially art related, let me know and I'll promote it here. Nothing is too big or too small. All posting will be done by me and anything included is at my discretion. None of this is endorsed in any way by Card Talk or Non-Sport Update.

Don't forget these items are ending tomorrow morning. Most of them are still bargain priced!! I only have links to my own items but there are also sketch cards by Ingrid Hardy, Leah Mangue, Laura Inglis, Jeff Chandler, and Rich Molinelli. These sketches are all 3.5" x 5", the same size as the Sci-fi and Horror Poster sketch cards.

Jason Potratz and Jack Hai have two items on Ebay that they are selling for charity. 100% of the final sale price will go to support the Childhood Leukemia Foundation.

These two have produced their amazing oil painting sketch cards for Topps' Indiana Jones, Lord Of The Rings, and Star Wars card sets. Their work is highly sought after. Just click on the images to go to the auctions.

I just want to give people some advance notice that I will be running a charity auction on April 26th on Ebay to to benefit the American Diabetes Association. The item to be auctioned will be one blank Hammer sketch card. This is an official blank sketch card from Strictly Ink's Hammer Horror Series. I only have one of these. I've mounted a piece of Strathmore drawing paper on it like I have on other sets so I can do a full color commission quality sketch on it. This will be MY ONLY FULL COLOR HAMMER SKETCH. The winning bidder will get to pick the subject from any Hammer films. Even though the Hammer series probably didn't appeal to kids I tried to show some restraint on the pack inserted sketch cards but there will be no limitations on this sketch. I'll post again when the auction goes live. Thanks

Chris H

Is it allowed for you to post a link or Ebay auction title for this?

Hi Graham:

I gave Chris permission for this thread. Also, links to eBay auctions here in the advertisers forums are permited.... He pays, he can do what he likes with the space (well, within reason Big Grin)

As he posted up front, none of the auctions or charities are endorsed by NSU...well, that is to say that Chris is doing his own thing here. He is choosing his own charities and making the payments himself (or using eBay/PayPal for that).

He has some great causes here and I applaud his effort.

On the auctions, it says shipping to US only. That's too bad, some pretty good sketches there.

Thanks for posting this info. I'd been wondering if you'd do it again this year. I got two great cards last year and I enjoyed the art and supporting a good cause.

I was able to get three sketch cards from this years auctions. Very happy to be able to get a sketch from TEX. I've wanted one for years but never found one in my price range. So very happy with this years wins.

A bit late posting, but my 3 sketches were waiting for me today. I don't know if there are any more avialable (I haven't looked) but there was no problem shipping to the UK. I just sent a question via e-bay and Steve was more than helpful.
