Family Guy plus just about anything rocks, but when its SW its a juggernaut.

Has anyone ever done Family Guy as The Sopranos?

I am still loving the Family Guy sketches of yours... the Harry Potter one is also going to have a nice home next to the LOTR one...

Thanks, I love doing the SW Family Guys! I've got a last group of 5-7 cards to do in the next few days, then I'll take my FG vacation for a while and do some other subjects!

I had thought I'd seen a Family Guy/Sopranos advertising spoof (not a sketch card), but I may just be thinking of the Simpsons one of them all sitting around in black and white.
*** And now that I think of it, there was one artist who did a FG/Sopranons sketch for FG series 1 for Inkworks, not sure who the artist was if anyone wants to chime in?

Glad you liked the HP Stewie! I really liked how the card layout turned out!

If this is the one your thinking of it was Mark Dos Santos that did the Family Guy /Sopranos card for the season one set.

Thanks, dude! I was thinking it was a single card, but it's been a year probably since I saw it. That's probably the one! Thumb Up

As always the Star Wars parodies are great. I think the only thing I haven't seen you do are some sticker designs. You've got to have at least a couple stickers for the set to be complete.

What do you use for the white lettering? I've never been satisfied with anything I've tried.

I also love the Mars Attacks parody. That's one of my favorite card sets.

Well, the blue and green cards a few posts up I used the paper color and just colored around to make the letters (which is a MAJOR pain Big Grin). The red Obi-West card lettering was handwritten over the blue background. I agree with you on nothing working great for white lettering. I'm currently using a "fine tip" (Ha, not!) Elmer's opaque paint marker for arts/scrapbooking. It's still not 100% what I want, but I keep getting closer. I almost posted a thread on Scoundrel a while back to see what others used... Without getting out a paint brush and doing it by hand, I just don't know...

And, yes, Chewie/Brian was originally going to be a first series sticker parody. I hadn't done a green series card yet, so I did that first, and I think the card design is more recognizable to fans than the sticker design, which Topps used for a few different late '70's sets... Perhaps I can adapt one of my last few in the sticker direction. We're thinking along the same lines Smile I'd like to do at least one style of each series!

Nice... Somehow I get the the feeling Peter is more Bobby Baccala than Tony...

Anyway, thanks for the image!

I just don't know Smile. I thought about asking for some input from the Card Talkers! I REALLY enjoy doing these Family Guy parodies, but I don't want to give the impression that that's all I can draw to the casual observer here Smile I have a growing list of commissions to do at the beginning of May, plus submission samples to do for Breygent's upcoming Movie Star Poster set. My production will be slowing down on these free time sketches until after that all is wrapped up.

Anything anyone out there would like to see? If I get multiple requests for something, I'll tackle it in a couple of weeks! (only getting one request for Starfleet Officer 5th from the left standing in the shadows probably wouldn't get drawn Big Grin) If I get a few requests for a certain subject, I'll go for it Thumb Up It can be a Family Guy meets ? parody, a serious TV or movie character sketch, drawn it color or pencils, etc. I'm easy Big Grin

I received a Family Guy Lost sketch card by Chris Moreno that I believe I posted under the Family Guy season 2 post.

Bonnie Swanson = Clair (both pregnant)
Cleveland = Mr. Eko
Chris = Hurley (about the same size)
(Asian reporter) Tricia Takanawa = Sun
Adam West = Adam West (it'd be cool so see Adam West stuck on the island!)

I actually did 2 quick (not finished quality) Lost sketches in the past with Family Guy characters (surprise surprise! Smile) I did have Quagmire as Sawyer and Stewie as Locke. I had all of them figured out for their counterparts (Peter=Jack, Lois=Kate, and so on), but never got around to doing them. Sounds like a few people might like that to be my next challenge! Big Grin

Here are the older Lost spoofs, they are sold off and long gone a while back, though. They were not finished-quality sketches, but you get the idea:

I like Peter as Hurley, but it would be fun, especially with this season, to have Peter vs Lois vs Quagmire as (spoilers) they are in a love triangle and they were the 3 kidnapped together).

I like the LOST ones....the thing is, I don't watch Family Guy, so it doesn't really appeal to me personally.

I'm definitely looking forward to more non-Family Guy sketches. Thumb Up Do you prefer subject requests to be posted here or emailed to you directly?
