Hi, everyone! This will be my new NSU home for posting original (non-set-related) sketch card art, E-Bay auctions, commission information, and so on!

About myself: I began doing sketch cards as a fun "hobby" in Spring, 2006 as I have a college degree in Graphic Design/Marketing. I posted my scans here on Card Talk and soon began getting requests for commissions. I was contacted by the great Tom B at Breygent Marketing and a fanboy's dream came true when I was included as a sketch artist in 2007's The Vintage Poster Collection: Classic Sci-fi & Horror Posters Collector Cards and The Wizard of Oz - Series II which comes out at the end of April, 2007. I have sketches in the 2 new sets for Breygent Marketing also: Marilyn Monroe Collector Cards and Movie Star Poster Collector Cards. In a month or so, you can see my work in Strictly Ink's Hammer Horror and 2000AD sets. Soon after that, Dr. Who Big Screen Additions, Ray Harryhausen, and Celebrity Sketches will be released.

Thanks for looking and please check back often!

Scott Houseman

I think they are all great, and those Disney tie-ins are really really cool.

Thanks! The Star Wars ones are my creations, but I "borrowed" Smile the Beauty and the Beast idea from an actual episode.

I think your idea of mixing the shows and films is very good, makes for some intresting items. Smile

All the parodies are great but using the actual card design makes the Star Wars cards really stand out. Great work Scott.

My favorites are the Disney ones you've done...

But those Family Guy sketches are awesome!

I'm not personally a fan of Family Guy (never watched it), but I do like the sketches. Smile

Thanks, all! I sketched out 6-7 different Star Wars/Family Guy cards, I'll have the rest up over the next week or two, all with other characters not pictured here.

Also, Han Solo Peter has been sold. I noted it above in the pictured post!

I am SOOOO happy to have won the Aragon auction! I had to bid and not BIN since my paycheck wouldn't arrive until yesterday and I was afraid of someone taking it, but I made sure that I was going to win that because the sketch is awesome and I am over the moon that I won it!

hey Scott - is there a reason why you only sell to US, Canada and UK? I was wondering why I never saw your auctions and followed your link.

No, that's a mistake on my part. I have shipped all over the world, Australia included. I just revised my listings and will be sure that my future ones will be available there - shipping is about the same to as the UK, etc. I have to go to a special post office a ways away to ship internationally and to do customs forms/etc. I usually just use a close shop for U.S. shipping.

I apologize, and I've got a few more sketches like those that just sold in the works. Please check back!

The Mars Attacks card is a stroke of genius. I'm glad it's going to a good home! Wink

I know that collector will enjoy it, whomever it may be Wink I had a HARD time putting that one up for sale, it really is a nice card! I've got a couple of other ideas like that lined out, but I'm going to start seeing the Griffin family in my sleep if I don't do some other subjects Big Grin

Has anyone ever done Family Guy as The Sopranos?
