Hello everyone! I might as well start fresh with a new thread. Since I managed to behave on my other posts and NOT pimp my work, this thread will ENTIRELY be dovoted to pimping out *yours truly*.

Anyway, I don't have an ebay store. I do list new cards almost every week - usually every Wednesday night. I don't like keeping a lot of inventory, and like clearing stuff out weekly so i don't do reserves and minimum bids are low.

Subject wise I specialize in more niche market stuff, especially pre- Star Wars science fiction from the 70's. Recent stuff was The Planet of The Apes series and Logan's Run. Currently working through a UFO set. I do standard superhero stuff as well.

I DO take commissions. I usually list one of those every week too. I prefer eBay for commissions, because even though the fees are high, I like the feedback.

This week I'll have my first glow-in-the dark cards. I also have weekly signature/sketch cards which have been popular, especially the Logan's Run stuff.

Here's a Logan-5 signed by Michael York:

Anyway, this week's stuff, which was covered in my closed thread already, is here:

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZstudio_haedesQQhtZ-1

I'll be posting new stuff every Wednesday for everyone's perusal.

Thanks;

Evan

This may seem like an odd question, but are the backs of your cards blank? from the front they appear to be preprinted at least a little. Just curious. I collect mostly commissioned sketch cards and have this weird thing about them having artist info on them. Maybe it is because my mind is a sieve these days. Anyway.. lol

nice stuff by the way - I am really liking that General Ursus card....

So on the signature cards you are buying the autographs, cutting them down to card size and drawing a sketch on the back. Is that correct? I'm a little confused because in your scans it looks like 2 different card stocks.

Yeah, they are blank. The front has a nice metallic border, but I could not do that as easily with printed cards. For me, it is all about the art, not the artist, which is why i even sign my name small.

Well, yes and no. Index cards are too flimsy to draw on, the surface is terrible, some of them are old and yellow, and the sharpie bleeds through to the other side. There are a couple of extra steps before i trim them down. The end result is about 14-18 point stock with a nice drawing surface, but that is a trade secret. Razz

I'm guessing it's probably similiar to how I make my sketch cards.

I'll probably do some Space 1999 stuff after i finish up UFO. I did some a few years ago. The file is here somewhere, it just wasn't named space 1999, so it's hard to find.

In other news, Peter Cushing Dr. Who is the early leader on my watchers list this week:

More UFO cards this week!! I'll probably be cycling through the rest of the characters in the next few weeks. I doubt i will do any hardware sketches as those were covered in the Cards Inc set a few years ago. Hey, there's a Cylon down there too, with metallic highlights.

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZstudio_haedesQQhtZ-1

These will start at 7:15 Pacific Time. From now on i will list the weeks stuff about 1 hour before they go live, for anyone that is up and about.

Kim Hunter is perfect for cards, because she does not write too large. I prefer smaller sigs. Linda Harrison writes HUGE, as does Charlton Heston, and James Daly, so it's harder to get quality sigs from them. I might have a few more Ziras in the future if i can get more autographs. I'm working on getting a 60's Batman TV set, all signed.

As of today, i've got the most watchers in Cylon and Ayshea from UFO. Lurkers!

Thanks. Next week: Either Blakes 7, Space 1999 or Firefly, haven't made up my mind yet. Though a Kolchak the Night Stalker still might be in order. And a few more Who from 63-67 and possibly a Martha Jones.

New stuff for this week. A few Blake's 7 cards and some more Doctor Who and a Cylon. I've also changed the start time for some of the auctions so they end at a more respectable time in the UK.
