And here is the card for next week's auction, I wanted to try painting a scene and to try and portray some depth. Again, the cards are a bit brighter in real life - the dragon too - the scanner flattens the colors somewhat.



And the winner of this card disappeared, so if anyone would like this poor abandoned dragon, I'm offering him (or her?) for $25.00 plus 3.50 shipping, just send me a pm!

The Rivendale auction ends tomorrow mid-day, thereabouts. I'm bowled over by the bids on that card - the bids and look-see's are truly appreciated.

Here is a new card, the Lothlorian (sp?) boat scene. Once I got into doing it, it kind of went off on it's own and is a bit different, totally understand if no one likes it. The light brought back memories of vacation in the Gaspesie area up here - the evening skies over the sea can be brilliant.

As a side note, in my ebay store I have some Dr Who portrait cards. In a few weeks (when I've the chance) at least one of them will go up for auction, but to a charity. (haven't picked the charity yet but it will be a cancer one) So I'd like to invite any Dr Who fans to keep an eye out for that - it'll be a good cause.

A quick note that the Lothlorien Boat ends tomorrow.... and next week there will be two auctions, one of the Dr. Who portraits for charity and a regular painted card...

Second - and this is a new experience - is a card up for a charity auction. 100% of proceeds will go to the International Breast Cancer Research Foundation . I really wanted to do a cancer benefit, but one that would benefit all countries, so hopefully this would do it.

(By the way, as a note to any collectors passing through.... bidding on the Arnor card helps this artist put up other cards for benefit on occasion.....
