Hi Everyone,
My name is Thanh Bui. I am an artist over on ebay. I have just recently caught on to the sketch cards crazy. I just want to introduce myself so let me give some 411 on my bio. I am 34 and reside in orange county. I grew up in the 80's so I'm a big Transfomer, GI Joe, Xmen, Batman fan to say the very lease. I have always wanted to become a comic book artist, but I really never took drawing very seriously. Just few months ago while surfing the web I came across an ebay page with some custom sketch card work. I thought that it was very interesting little peices of art work which were really affordable. I decided to jump on the band wagon and six months and about 150 sketch cards sold later I was given this site by one of my customers. I really want to get into the business and have been sending my art around so wish me luck. In the mean time I'm killing my time over at the 'bay. I do have an ebay store and a website that everyone can visit. Let me know what you think. I really need help. I have been triing to contact some of the card companies with little replies. Does anyone have any good tip on submitting work and whom to? I have tried contacting a few company such as Rittenhouse Archive, Topps, Upperdeck with no luck. I dont even know if I'm sending my email to the right people. Any help would be grately appreciated.
