Has anyone ever gone to this before? Any idea if this is a good card show?

Never been there, but I may check it out this next time. Last time they had it was the same weekend as the Philly Non-Sport Show in Allentown.

I may go, but I hope it's not all books and action figures. That'll be a wasted day for me.

Nick,
The promoter of this show is a nonsport card dealer.

Actually he was set up in Allentown. He covered his tables on Saturday, and someone else covered for him on Sunday, so that he could run his own show in Philly.

His name is Derek Woywood, can't remember what his Card Talk ID is.

I've actually been invited to this show numerous times to set up my artist table. I had a lot of fun. not a lot of artists but it's a cool show with some great comic and card dealers. Definitely worth checking out on a Sunday afternoon.

I emailed them last week asking if they were going to update the guest and it sounded like they weren't, but the show is still on!

Worst show for cards I've ever been to in my entire life. I stayed literally 5 minutes.

Well that stinks. How many card dealers were there? Was the show a decent size at all?

The guy promoting the show was the only person there with cards and his selection was awful. Just a few base sets of nothing over $15.00, inserts that weren't even in top loaders put in 2000 count box. Nothing organized at all. I drove 35 minutes each way for literally nothing.

Lots of comic dealers with some very nice Silver & bronze age books, but since I don't collect that stuff anymore it was a waste. Whoever makes the flyers should leave off Non-Sport in the description.

I couldn't agree more. Luckily, the show was only about 10 minutes from my house. I got there and was very dissapointed. There were a lot of comics, but since I could care less about collecting those, I was dissapointed. There was one other dealer there who had some boxes of trading cards for sale other than the guy promoting the show, but I had really hoped it would be comics and cards. This show is really just for comic collectors. I too stayed a short amount of time, but managed to buy a box of Heroes 2 and Harry Potter 3D 2nd edition while I was there.
