Is anyone going and willing to get Burn Gorman's autograph for me? Wave I'm going to Comic Con and (probably) Wizard World Chicago this year, so I would be happy to grab anything you would need at those conventions.

He's the only part of the Torchwood main cast whose autograph I don't have, and since he is off of the show I can't foresee him coming here to the US. Thanks!

Thanks anyway, Dave. I think it might be hard to find someone -- judging from the comments here and on the Doctor Who forum, Sunday seems to be the most poorly attended day.

You can order signed photo's but there is a £5 extra charge and £2 extra for postage and even another £5 if you want it personalized.. so thats a massive £12 on top of the actual cost.....

I actually emailed them before I posted here on Card Talk -- shipping to the US is actually £6.50! I could skip the personalization, but they are also charging £5 VAT even for overseas purchases so it would ending up being £31.50 total even without it Eek

Went today with graham - we were NOT IMPRESSED by the new location Shake Head, The signers were on the cold and windy concourse with a blooming long walk between each one. The card and memorabilia sellers were inside but attendee numbers looked low and there was no real atmosphere of a show, much prefered the old location within the shopping centre. Might pick up over the week-end but had Ben Browder not been there then it would have been a wasted day.

I will obviously see for myself tommorrow but that does not sound very encouraging.

This was a big worry that the crowds from the shopping centre would not go out to the stadium. There should be more people tommorrow because of the weekend.

Kevin is understating how bad it was compared to the shopping centre. There is no way they could hold a show there during the winter. Who would have thought that the likes of John Delancie and Alice Krige would be sitting around waiting to see someone. I can't remember seeing Avery Brooks at all. The only thing that made it bareable was the company.

This doesn't sound good. Frown

Did anyone see Mr. Hart there? How was he doing? How about some of the other dealer regulars around here?

I allways thought it was a mistake to have this show start on a friday but they used to get away with it because of all the shoppers. Now it is out at the stadium it should have started tommorrow.

I will do a report when i get back from the show tommorrow.

Paul was there plus the usual dealers, I don't think any of them were particularly happy about the venue - of course Saturday & Sunday could be packed out

Showmasters deleted my post because it was negative. All I put after several gushing reports by others was that they must have gone to a different show. If they are going to come up with something better, it my have been an idea to have skipped this one.
BTW, the show will not be going back to the shopping centre. New management have priced it out Shake Head

Just got back from the show and am very disappointed! Road signs to the stadium see to be non existent but I did eventually find the place and on time. Very large queues to get in that we later realised was mainly for Nimoy.
Thanks to Hammer I went prepared for the cold and it was, everyone spread out around most of the stadium. I went to see Naoki Mori and she was a no show Frown eventually told she would be at the show on Sunday Frown , so after a look around and a chat with Mr Hart made my way home.

I did find out the next show is to be held in the convention centre that is being built next to the stadium so hopefully things will improve.

Also heard that Alice Krige has had to get on a plane back to the US as she has just got a new role in a film (maybe TV) someone had become ill while shooting and they wanted her as the replacement.
