Had a great time, I love seeing the people there! After the show Paul held a pizza party for guests and vendors, and I was lucky enough to be able to go. Paul had a nice surprise for the Tosers, a book signed by many of the people from the show, honoring NSU's 20 years. Theree was a fantastic cake as well, I'm sure Harris will post pics of it.

I picked up 3 Razor Ink Archive boxes, the best auto was Mimi Rogers from Lost In Space. One of my boxes was The Seeker - and it had Ian McShane autograph in it.

Got to get to sleep - up early tomorrow and off to the Breakfast and trade session. Will give a more detailed report tomorrow.

Back from my second day at the show. Arrived early this morning before 8 am for the Card Talk Breakfast.
We had the breakfast buffet, pancakes, eggs, bacon, breakfast burritos, lots of good stuff. Our table had the Tosers, xtime, Jon and his fiancee Anna, and me, so a good group. Ed from Sci Fi cards, HippieJewel and Venom5liter were also there, and a few dealers. Had a raffle with proof sheets from latest NSU, and several people won these - there are only 12 in existance. I won a bronze ticket to next years' show.

After we traded - xtime Jon and myself, mainly. Got a few nixce things from both.

The show was better attended today I think. Picked up another Ink Archive box, not as great as the others, I'll post my 4 boxes later.

It was nice seeing and chatting with the Tosers as always, also saw Kennywood, Greg Geerts, Igman, and met Anjee breifly. Good to talk with all of you!
Of the guest, my favorite was Scott Swartz, a really nice guy, and Ed Faulkner, who has been in many John Wayne movies - got his auto of him and the Duke in "Green Berets".

In the way of art, picked up prints from Chris Achilleos and Alan Dyson. Alan always attends this show and I always get a print from him.

Paul and Diane always put on a great show, Paul works really hard and his crew of regulars are all really nice people - thank you to all of you!Paul has announced a rwlly exciting project for his next show, I'm sure he'll post something about it on his website soon.

I picked up a bunch of cards, and still have to go through and sort them, between Razor boxes and autos I bought, I must have about 20 new autos. Finished up a few insert subsets, but really, not as many as I would have liked. A few dealers were missing this time.

NSU had a few copies of the Beatles White Album book of art -really cool, I bought one for my daughter, who loves art and the Beatles - a few of our sketch artists we know arein there.

Overall, another great show - next year is the BIG one - I urge as many of you who can to come - Paul is gonna make it a fantastic show.

I had to skip out for most of the show today but was great to see everyone. Picked up a few boxes of cards and binders I needed. Also filled a few holes in the Want List. Thanks to Paul for his hard work on the show and for organizing the breakfast. Looking forward to next year already!

i had a great time today at the show! i made it to the holiday inn just as the show started but missed the breakfast and trading session. hopefully i will make it next year...

i spent most of the day browsing/buying/chatting everyone up. got to talk with ed, iggy, harris, don, jon and anna, paul, dave, hippiejewel (with her super-posse!) and lots more nice folks- so nice to meet (and re-meet) you all!

AND, i made less of a dent and more of a huge hole in my angel wantlist! so many many inserts, my mouth is still watering. plus i picked up some great treats like a sweet bsg tory scarf variant and a buffy/spike dual costume variant. plus, ed was holding two boxes of dexter sdcc cards for me that i cracked when i got home. not so lucky as to pull the prop card but did get a few nice sketches (and the same two costumes in both boxes. Frown grrr) also picked up three binders and some other randomness.

all in all, i had a great day- thanks much to paul and everyone else involved in putting this all together. it's really great to have a smaller show where you can actually talk to folks and get to know card talkers off-line. can't wait until next year!

We made it to the show for a little while today. It was good to see Don Norton and Harris again.
I spotted Jon and xtime from across the hall but didn't get a chance to talk to them. I picked a
a SciFi/Horror posters auto that I needed and got a bunch of promos from Ed SciFi cards as well as
a box of Star Trek TOS 2009 from which I pulled the William Shatner-Mirror, Mirror Kirk auto!! Big Grin
All-in-all I had a great time at the show. I'm already looking forward to next year!

Greg

This show was a lot of fun! Thank you Paul for making it so enjoyable. I got to talk with lots of people at the show. I ran into a couple of people that used to go to the fall Chicago Show 11 or 12 years ago.

I have a sketch book that I bring to shows for artists to do sketches. Three of the artists did full page sketches. Mark McHaley did Green Goblin, Darla Ecklund did Spy vs. Spy, and Corbett Vanoni did a great Tennessee Ernie Ford.

Paul - Let us know how your charity did. I hope the kids in the Child Oncology Unit enjoy the shoe box of sets that I brought. Thanks again for another terrific show.

Hi Everyone! The show was a lot of fun and I was coherent enough to enjoy it!
We raised almost 2000,$ for the Treasure Chest this year. Most of it came from the auction, and the rest came from the card singles and autographs on the promo cards.
Thanks to everyone for coming and supporting the TC and the Expo. Will have some special announcements coming soon.Just need to catch up on some things first.
Take care, see you soon.
Paul
