Time is moving quickly. The next Chicago Expo is Sept 11th and 12th, 2009 at the Holiday Inn in Carol Stream.

The first two confirmed artists are....
Chris Achilleos and Mark McHaley! Chris will be doing a slide show presentation on Friday. He did one last time he was with us, and it was wonderful! For those who attended, it was 2004. Will post more updates as confirmed. We do now have the discount in place with American Airlines. And the hotel rate is $ 69.95+ tax nightly.Watch for the web updates, working on those too! Wolfie I still have the LOTR promo card you needed awhile back, but became postage prohibitive. You can pick it up at the Expo, with no charge for delivery.

If you had to choose one person that you would really like to see at the Expo this year or next, who would it be?

Paul, there are many great artists and celebs that I would like to see at your show.
One I would like to see is James Marsters who played Spike on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I hear he really likes to meet fans and would really be a great draw to the show. Yvonne Craig would also be a good one. She starred in many TV shows from the 60's and played Bat Girl. I don't think she has ever been in Chicago. A Reality show person might be good too, Rupert from Survivor is still remembered by fans years after he was on. He's quite a character and very easy to talk to So there - you asked for one person i'd like to see at the show - I boldly gave you three! |
