This is a new one day show...I really don't know what to expect, but we are going to make the trek to Orlando, have some fun and try to sell some 'Stuff'.

Yes...I was having trouble with the link too. I checked with the promoter and the show is still on...he is just having some technical difficulties with the web site and hopes to have it up soon.

Well I am off to O-Town this morning. Some r & r by the pool with my son....he is 4 and staying at a hotel is a vacation to him so it's all good....and then set up LATE tonight for the show tomorrow.

Here's your show report:

As I said previsously, this was a 1st time show and was about what I expected. There were about 20 dealers there...about 45 tables. I was the only dealer with a selection of non-sports cards...most dealers had comics and toys.

Attendance was light, but actually better than I expected. It seemed like there were customers in the room for most of the day. I think many were just curious guests from the hotel (hotel guests got free admission). Card sales were about 25% of my sales (majority was comics). Bond, Star Wars and Marvel & DC were the sales...all inserts, no sets.

Overall pros of the show was a fairly good size dealer room (about a third of the size of the Tampa show) and the hotel was really nice...I would recommend it for a nice little getaway! Also a nice costume contest...a great Black Canary and Rosorsch (sp?) from Watchmen. Cons were the light attendance (to be expected for a 1st time show) and the fact there were no other non-sports dealers.

Another show is scheduled for early December. We will see how that one goes.
